I came here to celebrate my birthday and my friends and I all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable despite being very busy. The food was very impressive. Whereas many buffets serve cafateria-quality food, everything at Red Apple was as fresh and delicious as what you’d expect from a resaurant. For example, salmon, which is often overcooked at other buffets, was perfectly tender. My favorite dishes included the stuffed cabbages, the brisket and ham at the carving station, and the perogis.

Great polish food!!! There were so many options i loved it all!! The roast beef with the horseradish cream was phenomenal!! The look of this place and music were just simply comforting, great way to spend an evening. Make sure you bring someone who loves meat. Only thing I wasn’t blown away by was the sweets unfortunately. But I’m picky in that way. Our server was so attentive and nice too!! I’ll Def be back!!

We had not had Polish food for a long time. We decided to give it a try. There are not many parking. They have huge selection of meat, salad and desserts. The fried chicken was very dry so don’t try it. The famous potato pancake was very tasty. The pork cutlet was very good. The Polish Schnitzel was very special. The Polish Sausage was excellent and I had many of them. The corned beef was ok. The Orange Cheese cake was very yummy. The service was excellent and they took away the empty dishes very quickly. When we left, the restaurant was very packed. Definitely recommend it and we will back again.

How do you know when any place is truly “authentic”? The locals go there and in this case the Polish speaking locals go there.
They advertise being one of the Top 14 buffets in the USA and i believe it.
Everything homemade. Everything clean and fresh. The selection was excellent and higher end. Of course they have staples like stuffed cabbage rolls and pierogis but also many others like roast duck with apple filling, salmon with dill sauce, beef tripe soup and more.
The vibe is like you were fortunate to be invited to your friends rich Polish grandparents house for a special celebratory meal and they held nothing back.
Total check for two of us was around $74 and they are CASH ONLY which was fine as other reviewers had alerted us.
Would definitely go back again

Good food & the people were all amazing! Very friendly and helpful! So much to chose from and so fresh! Only did 4 stars as the polish sausage was dried out and tough. Everything else was delightful and the bread and dessert bar were out of the park!!!

Red Apple is an absolute gem! I came here with my mom and aunt, and it was such a special experience that I’ve decided to make it my tradition every time I visit from San Diego.
The food is authentic, comforting, and packed with flavor. My favorites were the “little hoofs” kopytka with rich wild mushroom gravy, the tender Angus beef brisket, perfectly crispy potato pancakes, the breaded chicken cutlet, and the classic potato and cheese pierogi. Everything tasted homemade and full of love.
I had tea with lemon alongside the meal, and we couldn’t resist finishing with their beautiful selection of treats. The coffee meringues and homemade whipped cream were divine.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, just like a Polish kitchen should be. The servers were attentive and kind. We never felt rushed. They have a beautiful full bar and another room that looks like it can be used for a party or private event. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for real Polish comfort food and a memorable dining experience!

This buffet costs $32.99 (3% more if you pay with card) and is worth every penny, especially if you are visiting from a place with no Polish restaurants. I had no experience with Polish cuisine and doubted it would be to my liking, but the food here turned out to be delicious. Like other buffets, as soon as you enter a hostess seats you, and a waitress almost immediately comes to take your drink order. Then you can help yourself. The buffet has a lot to choose from, and there are too many highlights to cover here. There are meats/main courses, sides, Pierogi, salmon, delicious garlic and cilantro shirmp, super delicious brisket, a large salad area, and a large dessert selection as well.absolutely delicious!!! Can’t wait to go back next time I visit Chicago!

Went here with my brothers and my mom to celebrate birthdays (3 of us all within days although years apart). It was my suggestion since I traveled during Christmas and missed the traditional polish Christmas Eve meal (although that’s more fish than what I got).
For what it is, the food is good and for those like my wife and others who need something with a little more flavor than traditional Polish food (beyond horseradish, which they also have plenty of) they do offer hot sauce. Definitely a heavier meal and (since it’s a buffet) nothing was stand out amazing (although the pork spread was very good… Not for me, but especially paired with a beer, very good). Service was friendly.

This is a rare Gem. Fresh wholesome & delicious homemade food prepared the old fashioned way without fillers and preservatives. The mushroom gravy is unbelievably good & gluten free. There are so many choices meats, seafood, authentic mashed potatoes. The servers are all friendly efficient & cheerful. I particularly enjoy the fresh fruit as a dessert choice although the desserts are excellent. You won’t be disappointed !

The food is excellent and service is extraordinarily attentive, clearing finished plates and bringing drinks (which are an additional cost, FYI). There are name plates for each food option with simple descriptors but not a lot of detail. There are so many options, and nothing looked like it had been sitting out for ages, nor running low, so there was a sense of “plenty” the entire two hours we were there. The decor is dated, which adds to the charm, but the setup works for a variety of groups.
