Red 8 continues to be the best sushi in Saratoga Springs! I left a 5 star review 2 years ago, I deleted it so I could leave a new review. I’m happy to say Red 8 is still 5 stars! Red 8’s atmosphere is always light and welcoming, the staff are kind and accommodating. if you’re a local, they’ll remember their customers and treat you as friends. They remember my family doesn’t like the wasabi so they stopped serving it with the sushi we order, haha. That is dedication!
In a sea of repetitive restaurant chains, Red 8 stands out and I consider it a local gem. you’ll get a level of service here you simply can’t get with all the big, multi location restaurants popping up in Saratoga. treat the staff with kindness and patience and you will receive the same in return. Give it a try!

Dandelion Sage
I did not expect to find this level of sushi in Saratoga Springs. Red 8 was such a pleasant surprise. Fresh, tasty rolls that came out fast and totally hit the spot. The vibe is cozy, very family friendly, and they do takeout which is a huge win for busy nights. Great service and seriously yummy sushi. A new favorite.

Their mini cheesecakes are good overall.
They do have higher prices than other places I been to.
I didn’t like that the servers were talking next to us most of the time, but overall is a nice place to go out.

Red 8 was a great dinner spot! We shared the General Tso’s chicken, just the right amount of breading, perfect flavor and spice, and the sauce was amazing!! Also tried the California crunch roll, which was fresh and tasty. Service was friendly and fast. Will definitely be back!

We loved this place. Good prices, large portions. I got the General Tso’s Chicken, wife got Mongolian Beef, daughter got Orange Peel Chicken and Mother-in-Law got Walnut Chicken. All really good. Walnut Chicken is very sweet. We loved it, but if you don’t like sweet, it probably won’t be for you. We also got ham fried rice, a California roll and an Alaska roll. Fried rice was really good. Lots of ham and had a slight smokey flavor we liked. The Sushi is above average, and reasonably priced. Great service, clean place. Will definitely be going back.

Awesome place. Ate there about 3 times now. 2 inside orders and 1 to go order. To go order was very swift and accurate. Sitting inside the atmosphere was more modern and very open with an almost rustic barn feel that was kinda different for an asian cuisine establishment. They serve all manner of dishes and even a variety of sushi rolls. Yum!

Red 8 is a great place to eat sushi, sushi roles, and Asain food! The food here, I think, is great . Everything I choose to order has always been cooked great and portions are always bigger than I can eat in one setting. The price here is great as well in comparison to other again restaurants that offer the same rolls and enntrase! The service is great and helpful, always working to fill my drink and offer of Deseret. There wasn’t a wait to get in to be seated, although take out was super busy.

The service was quick and great. It wasn’t busy for a Saturday afternoon, and our food came out fast. We got two appetizers—the potstickers and cream cheese wontons. Sadly, the appetizers were the best part and the entrees fell flat. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and beef yakisoba. They were both very bland and flavorless. The chicken was tough and overcooked, and the portions were small compared to other Chinese places in the county.

The hostess you sent me didn’t really seem enthused to be there. I get it. You’re a host is at a restaurant. It’s not a glamorous job but it can at least fake it for 10 seconds while you’re seating somebody.
After I was seated, the food came out very quickly and my water was refilled and the server was very polite.
The crab rangoons had a interesting synthetic or chemical smell to them and they tasted a little bit off but I had literally not eaten at all that day so I just consumed them anyway
The pad tie on the other hand was really really good. Great spice level large portion. I probably should have eaten it a little slower but it was really good.

Underrated, rarely busy. Wide variety of delicious food. Dynamite jalepeno appetizer is the bomb. Pad Thai, soups, salads, and sushi all fantastic. Friendly and super fast service every time. They have a little bit of everything, pad Thai was really good.
