I have been a loyal customer of Recuerdos for several years and never had any issues…until now. I was hoping the quality of the food wouldn’t go downhill when they teamed up with Backporch, but it’s even worse than I imagined. This photo doesn’t do the rock hard rice and beans any justice. This never should have left the kitchen.

We just want to say thank you for such an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, but what truly touched our hearts was your kindness. When you learned that our daughter just turned one, knows some Spanish, and uses sign language, you went out of your way to buy her a book about making tortillas. That was such a thoughtful and meaningful gesture.
It meant more to us than you know. You made our family feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. We will never forget that kindness — and we are so grateful. Thank you for not only serving great food, but for serving it with such a beautiful heart.

We have ordered here many times and it was wonderful. Today we ordered food, got it delivered and there was a black curly hair right on top of the enchiladas. So disgusted and so disappointed.

This was my go-to since having moved to Round Rock 2 years ago. I’ve eaten here no less than once a month in that time. But, something has happened since their move and quality has really gone down the last 2 times I’ve ordered from Recuerdos. I gave them the benefit of the doubt first time, but now for a second time, poor quality. I need to find a new go-to.

Cute little restaurant. Quick service and friendly. Got the Migas and tasted good. Simple hash browns served as the potatoes and chips were soft so if you want that verses crunchy. Priced well.

What a treat! We loved the chips and salsa and the cheese enchiladas were delicious! Will definitely be back when I am back in town! Very friendly and welcoming staff.

This location was a good spot to check out. The food was delicious, and the service was nice and attentive. The dining area is small, so it can get cramped inside, but the only thing stopping it from being 5 stars was the flour tortillas. Reading about this location having authentic flour tortillas gave us more reason to try this location out, but they don’t use homemade style anymore, which is a bummer. Other than that, this place is worth a try.

We love Recuerdos. The tacos are amazing! I am a vegetarian and they are very accommodating. Wonderful food, nicest family. Can’t wait to try the recommended enchiladas. Will definitely be back soon.

Small cute little place. I wasn’t impressed by the food ranchero sauce was a bit plain. Only the flour tortillas are homemade. The coffee was good. Service was good, but it was just one waitress running the whole place by herself, and she was very overwhelmed and needed help.
