Thats My “Woke Wrecker” Business
It’s a Sports Bar. Don’t expect fine elegant quisine. The food is very good. We stopped on a Thursday, and discovered it was…Burger Thursday. Awesome reduced price on all burgers. Sure the Onion rings and fries, were an added cost, but you still save about four dollars. It’s a great deal, and the burgers were skyscrapers.
We had lunch around 1 p.m., and the place had a few patrons, and dozens of televisions. Each with a different sport and a couple with the news. The widescreens were gigantic. Onion rings were crispy, not over-cooked, and they gave more than enough for two people. Very easy to locate. It is to the right, as ou pass by the Oneida Nation’s Save-on convenience store, on the left. At the intersection entrance/exit to Turning Stone Casino. Most likely gets busy with hotel patrons for dinner.
Definitely worth stopping at for lunch with kids, or just having a lunch meeting. Atmosphere was very quiet, though evening hours it might be a little rowdy. Definitely would recommend, and much more affordable than the Turning Stone restaurants. Yes, Recovery Sports Bar, does have a bar and beer menu. The dining staff, was very prompt, courteous, and not invading. Make a stop at Recovery Sports Grill, Verona, New York. I’m gonna be a return customer.

Recovery is a very planned out set up. For sports fans and all of those of you in between. This place offers a little bit of everything for everyone. Even if you don’t drink. You can proudly watch your favorite sports team and drink a soda. Like I did, the kindness from the staff is the one thing that has sold me. This place is somewhere I truly recommend. It was literally 5 minutes from me. But came to just watch Syracuse Football. The bartender was amazing as well as the rest of the staff that was on.

We stopped to have something to eat. My husband blood sugar was very low and he needed to eat. We were greeted very nice, picked a table of choice. Waitress came took our order, all good. It was not very busy at all. Starting to wonder where our food was, 35 minutes later. The Waitress comes and brings us a plate of potato chips, I go like where is our food She admits that she NEVER put our order in REALLY THAT’S YOUR JOB!! How do you do that??? The manager brings our food and I told him that we are NOT HAPPY! He did take some off our bill, thank you! This stuff should NEVER HAPPEN!

I spent $25 on one meal and instead of good quality Mac & cheese for the side… they gave me Kraft Mac & cheese. It tasted old and dry. And I asked for no guacamole on my chicken sandwich and they put it on.

Skip this place. Sunday night football. Tons of open seats and we have to sit in the only table offered? Service people standing around chatting. No food coming out. Waited 5 mins for drinks. Won’t be back.

Great place for a quick bite when staying nearby. Staff was friendly – we went on a slow Wednesday evening, the wait for the food wasn’t too long and prices as expected for a sports bar. We asked for medium rare for steak and it was done exactly as asked 🙂 The Baja salad was very filling and a generous portion. The raspberry and chocolate chimichangas were simple and tasty. Overall was a good experience and I would definitely return.

We had a very nice time here…food was good, generous portions and an attentive wait staff.

My wife had the Buffalo Mac n cheese…a big bowl! I had a burger and it was well put together and tasty. I deducted a star only because it was a bit overcooked, and my fries were only warm. My wife’s was piping hot, so that was good. Overall, good food! We had the crispy Brussels Sprouts, and they were darn tasty! Never seen them like that before…

Our server, Ben, was courteous and attentive without interrupting…a definite pro!

We’ll be back for sure…

Great drink selection, the cheerleader sauce is delicious! Definitely a favorite… it’s a sweeter bbq sauce but with a bit of spice. Hard to explain but worth the try. The service was great and the waitress did well with suggestions. The chips are kinda meh, I would pay the extra for fries.

I’m not a sports fan at all but the vibe here was very nice. Lots of tv’s to watch and a bunch of sports memorabilia in the walls.
The workers were all super nice and exactly what you want when you go to a restaurant.
I had the white broccoli and spinach flatbread with some grilled chicken on it and it was very good. It could’ve benefitted from some seasoning as it was a bit bland, but it is something I would get again.
