Establishment has very góod tap beer selection…hence 3 stars.
Have had tasty gyros previously, but these were certainly not. AND of course the price was up.
I may not order a gyro anywhere for a while.
Totally eye-rolled the conversation piece; it didn’t help the atmosphere one bit.
It was employer/owner based and gave an awful impression.
I live out of town, and I will find an alternative.

Very cool bar in the middle of town. We a smash burger and a couple of gyros. Apparently the gyro was the best my friend has had in this area, and he has tried A lot!!! Great cheese curds too!

I ate at The Recovery Room in La Crosse three nights in a row while traveling for work, and it did not disappoint! The food was fantastic, and the service was consistently excellent. The cozy neighborhood pub and grill atmosphere made it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. I tried the cheese curds, steak tips, and wings—everything was delicious. The Kentucky bourbon glaze and the honey Sriracha cilantro sauce were absolute standouts. If you’re wondering what to do in La Crosse, definitely check this place out. I’ll be back for sure!

Service was a little slow. One of the guys went and got his own drink after asking the times. Some did came out quickly, one hamburger was about 20 minutes.
This would not be my first choice in the future.

Solid food. I enjoyed my burger. In true Wisconsin fashion the fish sandwich had 2 pieces that could have made multiple sandwiches. Also, looking at the drink specials I understand why this state doesn’t want to legalize cannabis and keep everyone drunk.
