As you can see the fork in between the 2 ribs if you call it that. WHERE do you get ribs the size of a regular size FORK? Watery bbq sauce that had to be poured out n REAL BBQ SAUCE ADDED! NO TYPE OF SEASONING. JUST BLAND N TASTE LIKE THAT WERE IN THE OVEN NOT A GRILL!! Also received 5 slices of the hardest bread I’ve ever seen. I guess that’s why it’s 5 slices so you can find the best piece that’s edible. A order of these “RIBS” was $18! TERRIBLE n they should be ashamed. The prices are way up n the food QUANTITY & QUALITY is AWFUL! Go to to Kooly’s around the corner!!

The potato salad tastes like store bought, they give ranch style beans instead of bake beans. The bbq doesn’t have a smoky flavor as if it has been on a pit. The bbq sauce taste like they added ketchup. The food isn’t good. Please don’t waste your money. Kooley’s bbq is way better than this place and they give more food for the same price. Records is taking people money and the food is terrible.

The food does not taste the same. I ordered the double everything potato. To me the potato container and size has shrunk! It used to be in a regular size lunch plate, but now it’s in the half size foam container. Less food for a $24 potato since a couple of years ago last time I had ate there. Let’s not talk about the One size only chopped beef sandwich that they have now. There is no more jumbo chopped beef sandwich off the block type cut. Just small only.

The worst place ever! Always has been! Ordered 2lbs of small end ribs whole sweet potato pie $75.39 ribs were clearly cut in half so we had mini ribs covered in some kind of sauce to hide the fact that this meat is old. After eating this mess I became very ill with a bad case of stomach cramps, vomiting and diareah! Too much information? I’m still sick purchased this food on Sunday around 4pm.

Decided to try this place based on some guy’s video review on Facebook. I had the brisket sandwich on bun dry (sauce on the side based on another google review) with Mac n cheese on the side, my husband had the 2 meat plate (chicken and ribs) with green beans and corn on the side, and a small peach cobbler. First off the sauce is nasty, the brisket meat was dry and tasteless, the chicken was old and dry and my husband’s food was drowned in sauce to mask the fact that it was tasteless. I do not recommend! The peach cobbler tasted burnt and watery. We will stick to Hard 8 BBQ or Soulmans BBQ. $44 wasted! I’d rather eat a cigarette than to eat this again!

I came across town because I wanted a good pecan pie. After I drove off I noticed a had two pies in the bag. Both pies was very very old and tasted horrible. I would have rather gotten one good pie like I ordered, instead of you giving me 2 pies that was absolutely bad. This place is nothing like it use to be. I will be going somewhere else from now on, very disappointed.

Over priced.. I got a loaded potato and it cost 18 dollars. The bbq sauce tasted like ketchup. They over load the ketchup bbq tasting sauce on their meat. Yall should just close down

Having recently moved to the South Dallas area the closest bbq joint I would go to was Lockharts in Oak Cliff. Decided to try something in my immediate area and very happy I did. We got 2 of the 2 meat plates (See Pictures). Chopped beef and links and chopped beef and ribs. I was asked if I wanted my meats drowned in their bbq sauce to which I agreed but it is very saucy. So I will not be taking that into consideration with this review (will get sauce on the side next time.) Overall the meats were tender and juicy! My favorite thing though was their loaded baked potato! Highly recommend! Will definitely be coming back when I need my bbq fix!
