Checking this place out for the first time. It’s Friday amd wanting something new. We didn’t realize there would be live music. Menu looks like it has some great options. We ordered the Reckless burger and the Colorado Cheese steak. Started off with the Cheese Curds. Cheese curds were very good. We also tried a couple of thier beers, they were good as well. It may have been an off night, Cheese steak said 12 or 14 hour BBQ for the meat, it was not that, little firm for sure. The burger was very average, service was super. It was very loud, but they did have a live band. Ticket at the end of the night was more than I expected. Not a bad place, just maybe an off night when we visited.

awesome visit! great pulled pork nachos! owner came out to share samples of other beers not on tap. we really enjoyed the variety of craft beers in our flights. bartender was very friendly and super helpful. our friends who live in Fruita will be back!

Ww went for an early dinner (late lunch) at Reckless and were greeted as soon as we walked in. No waiting for someone to come back to the hostess podium. We ate in the bar (vs dining room) and had our drinks within just a couple minutes of sitting down.
We decided on an appetizer of WI cheese curds with an aioli sauce and woww!! Great flavor combo! (See pic!)
Hubby ordered a Philly cheese steak with fries and it looked fantastic when it hit our table! The peppers, cheese and herb toppings — presentation was like eye candy!
I ordered a Reuben and fries and dug right into the brisket-based sandwich! The sauerkraut was in there but did not overpower the meat. Great flavor, tender brisket.. It was a hefty sandwich so half came home with me. However, the fries and fry-sauce were so perfect, I had to chow down! Just the right crispiness!
Ohh man! I’m hungry for another round! Congrats, Reckless, for a great first year in Fruita!! And here’s to many more!!

You know those tv shows with the cool bar you wish you could go to ? This is that bar. Cream soda and root beer made in house – fantastic . Cheese curds – I am drooling thinking about them . Live local bands- phenomenal. You can tell the owner actually enjoys what he does- even more reason to support local

I need to start by saying service was great! No issues there. The pricing however, is insane. $10 for 5 wings, $18 for 8 wings $32 for 16 so on so forth. The wings themselves are cooked great- the sauces- lackluster. We did buffalo and Nashville hot, both were not hot, barely seasoned, and overall would’ve had a better wing experience and pricing at roosters or (god forbid me mention a chain) bdubs. $15 for 5 very small jalepeno poppers is also insane. While the food was alright it does NOT reflect the price tag. Atmosphere was nice, again waitstaff was great- but these prices for the food you receive isnt it. We left spending upwards of $70 still hungry.

My wife and I stopped at Reckless Brewing while we were in Fruita and this place was awesome. We started with the bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers that came with a homemade jam — probably the best I’ve ever had. You can tell they make a lot of stuff from scratch here, and it really shows.
For dinner, we split the dry rub chicken wings and the Brewhouse Mac and Cheese with pulled pork on top. Both the wings and pork are smoked in-house, and honestly, they nailed it. The wings had an awesome flavor and the mac and cheese might’ve been the best we’ve ever had — super creamy and packed with smoky flavor.
I had the Darth Lager, which is one of their own brews. It’s a dark amber with a really smooth taste — definitely one I’d come back for. Josh was our bartender/server and he was the man. Super friendly, attentive, and clearly loves what he does. He even let us try some of his homemade amaretto and root beer — both legit.
We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Tried to go to hot tomato but the line was too long so we decided to pop next door. Did not disappoint! Had the Darth Vager with the Philly cheese steak and wings with all the sauces.

We had the best lunch here on a Sunday. The food was incredible- think bar food but tastefully elevated with high end ingredients. Cheese curds, poutine, and wings were all amazing. What made it awesome was our server Alex, such a nice guy. Great service, funny, personable, he’s an exceptional server. 10/10 will be back every time we go through Fruita. Thanks Alex!
