I had my bridal shower at the Conshohocken Rec Room this past weekend, and it was truly the bridal shower of my dreams! The upstairs room was the perfect space to host 45 ladies to celebrate my upcoming wedding and we even got to invite the fellas, who had a great time hanging out downstairs during the event!
John and Alexa were incredible during the planning process, making everything seamless. Getting in for setup was a breeze with the convenient backdoor access and parking lot right there. The bartenders were fantastic, friendly, efficient, and serving up delicious beer and cocktails. The food was excellent, and the included music setup and speakers really helped set the vibe and made it easy to play games throughout the event.
If you’re looking for a beautiful, fun, and stress-free venue for your next event, look no further than the Conshohocken Rec Room!

This place is pretty cool, if you are able enough to walk up stairs. I am not sure if they have an elevator but I’ve not seen it. They do live music, sound guy is great. Gets a little cramped and sometimes hot if crowded because of the elongated format, tables on each side and a bar at the top opposite the stage right as you come in off the stairs. Ticket taker is normally at top of stairs. I’ve seen this place packed and the vibes are immaculate 10/10
Downstairs is the dining room style bar restaurant. Bartenders are always great people.
Parking… Come on it’s Phoenixville. Paid sreet parking, some paid lots, expect a walk to the venue. Town has good vibes for weekends and late nights and I have friends out of state that know about it

Got a chance to eat here during the weekend when the street is closed. The ambience of enjoying a dinner as a community is unbeatable. There was also a live band upstairs that we didn’t get to fully check out but will definitely look into next time.
The downside of enjoying the meal in an open concept is you’ll have to constantly fend off bugs from enjoying the meal with you. Not that big of deal, we’re in PA and outside afterall.
The food here was good and very filling. Will come back for a beer and enjoy the music in the future.

The Rec Room in Phoenixville is one of my favorite spots in town. It’s the perfect mix of laid-back and lively. The shuffleboard league is one of the best things in Phoenixville — super fun, social, and well organized. Trivia with Leedom on Thursday evenings is consistently fun, competitive and a great way to kick off the weekend early.
The staff is what really makes the place though. Erik, Luke, Julie & Erica are all top-tier bartenders— always friendly, remember your drink, and keep the energy high behind the bar. You can tell everyone actually cares about the vibe of the place. Can’t recommend this spot enough.

The welcoming vibe in Phoenixville is especially found at Rec Room! Rec Room is so versatile! Great for families to go after a Phantom win, catching up with friends or saying Hi! To Erik or the amazing staff. Have a delicious Ring the Bell around the traditional shuffleboard tables! The happy hour is stellar.

We went for trivia, and the way they ran it wasn’t really our thing, but a lot of people looked like they were having fun with it. Food was underwhelming & there was a fly that would not leave us alone the whole time (idk if I can blame the restaurant for one fly but it was super irritating). Server was clearly being trained & he was doing his best. Place is aesthetically pleasing, we left with some cute pictures.

I rented the top floor/private space for a party and it was perfect. I had a thousand questions throughout the months of party planning and someone was always available to answer my emails promptly and thoroughly, all of our food and drink options were easily laid out for us, the staff was easy to work with and super fun on the actual night. If you’re thinking about throwing a party at rec room – do it!

Fine if its empty, but two bar tenders on Halloween? Either bad luck in scheduling or pure greed from ownership, you decide. I don’t blame the two bartenders on staff, but when you have a standing room only crowd I would expect the second bar to be open. Its halloween, it doesnt take a MBA to guess its going to be busy. 15 mins waiting seated at bar for a drink with no service. Very disappointed. Went to bisto on bridge where we were served immediately.

Party of 5
Order:
Hummus platter
(3) Seafood Lo Mein
(2) Crab Tacos
Tres Leches
Food:
The hummus platter had great hummus and superb feta cheese but unfortunately the platter had tons of feta, pita, and vegetables and very little hummus.
The main dishes was inconsistent in terms of portion size. One lo mein order was almost twice the size of the other two. With regards to taste, the scallops were well cooked and tasted fresh but the shrimp had a chemical taste to them.
The crab tacos were pretty bland and disappointing although the chips and salsa was fresh.
The Tres Leches was dry due to it not being soaked in any type of condensed milk. Good flavor otherwise.
I’m always hesitant with restaurants that have random menus (lo mein, tacos, burgers, pasta) that aren’t from one particular type of cuisine (American, Chinese, Italians, Latin) and this reaffirmed my feelings that it’s hard to successfully execute multiple unrelated cuisines in a single kitchen.
Service:
Great service, one of the lo meins was asked to be removed from the bill due to chemical taste and that was granted. The server was very attentive as was management.
Overall:
Did not like the food but the atmosphere, beer selection, and service was the saving grace here. Wouldn’t go out of my way to return but I wouldn’t avoid it all together either.
