We made reservations here for the first time for the Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu and we will definitely be back after our experience. Our server Swami was most kind and engaging and made our experience lovely. Every bite we had was impressively delicious and we were pleasantly full by the end of the meal. The selections on the menu were thoughtful, allowing for a range of choices to cover the most refined to the most discerning of palates. The ambience was so nice; at some the music switched to a live band whom were very talented. We enjoyed the cocktails and wrapped with dessert and two cappuccinos which were also lovely. Well done!

Unfortunate review: the vibes were amazing. Restaurant is beautiful, there was an amazing live music performance. However, the food was a severe disappointment. My husband and i love fine dining but we also love good food and this was not it. There was a limited Valentine’s Day menu and i mean limited. The halibut was so bland with no real sides. Just plain steamed fish. We were really excited to go to this restaurant and even skipped out on others but for $500 we should have just went to bygone or the capital grill.

From the minute details in the design of the restaurant to the final touches of the mouth watering cuisines this fine establishment delivers to their guest – everything was above excellence! I stopped in on Friday and had the King Salmon only to come back the following evening for the filet mignon and of course more oysters. I’ve been coming to Fells Point for almost 10 years and this restaurant by far stands out from all other fine and eclectic dining destinations. I will be back!

We came to Rec Pier Chop House for my sister’s birthday, and the entire experience was amazing from start to finish. The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean, and has such a calm, classy atmosphere that makes you instantly relax.
Our waiter, Brian, truly made the morning even more special. He was so attentive, friendly, and professional—honestly one of the best servers we’ve ever had. He added such a warm touch to the celebration.
And the food… absolutely incredible. Everything was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. This was my second time coming, and after this visit, I’m hoping to come back every birthday. Highly recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, and an experience is what you get. The ambience is amazing and the service was very kind and courteous. Joshi was our server and gave great recommendations for wine along with our meal. He was very polite and attentive and made my wife’s birthday a very special experience. The Rec Pier Chop House is an amazing date night spot with an amazing view of the cobblestone road through ginormous floor to ceiling glass wall!

Very Nice atmosphere and design.
Drinks were good and great selection.
The food was just above average and pricey.
I had a delicious credo of fluke and then a swordfish special. The saffron on the fish was good but kinda light for a meaty fish.
My wife had the chicken parm on the bone and it looked great but was definitely over breaded!
The ending was better with three gelato flavors
that hit the spot. I would return but choose other options.

Was in Baltimore for all girls birthday weekend celebration and we stayed in the Sagamore Pendry. My daughter booked reservations for the chop House prior to going to concert at arena. When we arrived our table was awaiting our arrival. It was a perfect location in front of the beautiful picture windows across the front of the restaurant. Our server and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Our server took a few pictures for us and suggested different drinks appetizers and entrees as well as special for the evening. Everyone in the group have been there before except for me so it took me awhile to get through their very extensive menu. I found several items I wanted to try and so we did just that ordering a little bit of everything. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and appetizers. Our food took a little longer coming out however when it arrived it was very hot in temperature and extremely tasty. I had the pasta that had the crab meat with jalapenos and bread crumbs. The ambiance is very beautiful to include the fixtures furniture even down to the dishes. I enjoy detail and was pleased that this establishment also took pride in details as well. I will definitely be back when visiting Baltimore!

This Restaurant is connected to the Pendry Hotel. Just walking into the doors you know it’s fancy. You start off walking down this long elegant hallway and you are greeted by the staff. We decided to go to the bar and order drinks. The bartenders are very knowledgeable of what they are making and very professional. The place is quite dark and sometimes hard to see. The pictures were coming out very dark but I understood what they are trying to accomplish with this type of lighting it’s really a romantic and intimate feeling around the restaurant. There is a piano with live music when we went there was no one playing but you could see the piano. After we had our drinks we walked outside to the courtyard. Very interesting setup the courtyard is surrounded by hotel rooms so you can actually see into people’s rooms they are all like that which seemed a little weird like they are watching you or you are watching them kind of feel. We did not have a hotel room but I think I would keep the blinds down the entire time I was staying there. Or suggest not getting a room that is connected to the courtyard. But overall the place seems nice and very clean.

We had brunch and dinner here. The candies bacon was fantastic and was the thickest bacon I’ve ever eaten… and my fat ass has eaten a ton of bacon I’ve the decades. The Piers Old Fashioned was delicious. I had 3 or 4 over my stay. The 16oz Ribeye was phenomenal. Cooked to perfection. I haven’t eaten a full 16oz steak in years (since starting adhd meds). My appetite isn’t there and I usual eat half and save the rest for the next day. It may have just been the hangover but I crushed that whole steak, sides and even ordered some French fries afterwards to spirit with friends afterwards and it was all delicious.
Our server Ben was friendly, accommodating, and amazing. 10/10 best employee in the restaurant.
