Rebellion in Danbury was an absolute experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was amazing—great vibes, beautiful ambiance, and a space that just feels alive. The food was completely on point, and the drinks were nothing short of spectacular.
The service was top-tier across the board, from our incredible server Alexis to the bartender crafting truly magnificent drinks. What really set the night apart, though, was the owner coming to our table. Being able to share our honest, raving feedback and seeing the genuine appreciation on his face spoke volumes about the pride and passion behind this place.
They’ve only been open for about two years (if I’m not mistaken) and are already planning to open another location—which says everything you need to know. Rebellion has definitely earned its spot as a go-to destination for food, drinks, vibes, and atmosphere.
We’ll absolutely be back to try all the other amazing things we didn’t get to that night. Wishing them continued success—this place is something special.

I absolutely love bone marrow, and this was the best I’ve ever had.Even the side salad that came with it was truly delicious, not just something thrown on the plate. I’d come back again just for this dish alone.
The owner was so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better and made me want to return.
The atmosphere, the crowd, and the overall vibe of the place were all perfect.

Came here for some cocktails with my family. We had such an amazing experience! Tim was behind the bar and each drink was amazing and well balanced. We got a pitcher of the Rosso and then a pitcher of the Mule, we loved both. For the Espresso Martini we asked for a little Baileys in it because that’s how we like it and that was also very good. We only got the calamari and chips but the calamari was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. If you like it extra spicy ask for more peppers. The chips were also very good and well done which is how we like them. Can’t wait to go back for more drinks and we will stay for dinner next time!

Absolutely LOVE this spot. Such a vibe and cocktails are *chefs kiss*…. Food is… oh I already used it, but, chefs kiss again! lol. My fav is the mushroom crostini, calamari, burger, wings, and I haven’t tried it but I’ve got my eye on the Mac n cheese. (Cocktails are “you won’t like me when I’m angry” and “white Negroni”. Came here for happy hour.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing dinner at Rebellion! Our server was Taylor, she was awesome- very friendly, professional and attentive. Both the owners stopped by our table to say hi which we appreciated. We shared a beet salad which had a delicious sauce, I had the eggplant parm and my boyfriend had the short rib with polenta. Both our entrees were fantastic, made fresh, and we loved that the portion size was the perfect amount to fill us. We also had a cocktail with mezcal and aperol- a combo we would have never thought of ourselves but absolutely loved it! We ended the night with the chocolate cake with espresso gelato. We also loved that they were playing vintages movies on their tv screen- very cool and added to the vibe. Highly recommend, we can’t wait to go back 🙂

Such a gem of a restaurant! The vibes were great, the staff was friendly and attentive and the food was SO GOOD. We loved the creativity of the menu and everything we ordered was delicious. The portion sizes for the small plates were good as well, perfect to split between 2 people. Wish I lived closer so I could visit often!

What a charming space that blends modern rustic decor with a cozy ambience. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with warmth and an aesthetically pleasing environment. The menu is a delightful fusion of flavors. The presentation of the food is as impressive as the taste itself making each dish a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. We had the Olive Tapenade w/ Focaccia, Colossal Shrimp Fra Diavolo, Wild Mushroom and Ricotta Crostini, Graffiti Eggplant Parm, Spicy Tuna and Crispy Risotto.
Everything was so delicious but my favorite was the Graffiti Eggplant Parm. The food was delectable, the drinks were divine and the staff were very friendly/attentive. What a wonderful experience. 10/10 must try again.

Hey guys.. I’m not a big fan to review, but this was a must to share. You have to experience it. Ambience, decor, friendliness, service, food was absolutely outstanding! We had Colossal Shrimp Fra Diavalo , Mediterranean Olive Tapenade and Smoked Octopus as an appetizers, then chicken with cherry peppers and monkfish. And, of course, a dessert. It was amazing. Portioned just right and super delicious. All of that was accompanied by an old-fashioned.

My family came for dinner on a Tuesday evening. We were so impressed by the cocktails, food, and vibe of this restaurant. We ordered the mushroom toastini appetizer as well as the meat and cheese platter( very big portion). Both were so tasty. I love that there was Mocktail options on the menu and the one I had was delicious. For entrées, we had the chicken piccata and the short rib. The presentation on the piccata was amazing and the flavors were delicious. It was light and flavorful well balanced. We will definitely come again and bring friends. I also thought the price was very reasonable, considering the quality of food.
