I ordered the peanut pad Thai and crab rangoon . It was so good, tastier than other places. The sauce was rich and flavorful. The staff were lovely. I highly recommend it.

One of the best Thai food in GR. Love the color in the pad Thai and the searing flavor. It’s been a long time since I’ve found pad Thai with this taste! Also got papya salad and it was really good. No pictures, but had tom kha soup, crab rangoon, fresh roll, and pho. All that were very flavorful too. The portions were big, so I had seconds to bring home. The only thing lacking would be spice level, but I just like it hotter than most, so just ask for a side of dry chili pepper. The place is small, so during the winter maybe it would lack staying warm in the dining area from all the carry out orders they do. Other than that, it’s clean and friendly.

Grand Rapids has a pretty bad Thai food scene. This place restored my faith. The food was SO GOOD. The spices were layered and complex, everything was cooked well. But can we talk about these crab Rangoons that actually have a good amount of crab in them and aren’t all cream cheese?! 10/10 will be back and recommend to anyone in the area.

This was my first visit. No previous recommendations, but l haven’t had any authentic Thai food in a long time. I ordered the Crispy Duck Pad Thai for takeout. The portion was generous, the duck was rich and tasty. The noodles were fresh and flavourful. Also ordered the sticky rice with mango for desert. The service was friendly and fast. Only had to wait about 10 minutes since l didn’t pre-order. Overall, an excellent takeout at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend and will make this a weekly stop. Thank you!

Real Thai is hands down the BEST. Exquisitely prepared food, quality ingredients, beautifully presented with cute hand cut garnishes and it is SO flavorful. The service is wonderful. The waitress remembers us every time and are so very sweet. Supporting this locally owned business is a pleasure and I totally recommend anyone who enjoys Thai food do the same.
We always start with the Tom Khar Shrimp soup or Beef Salad. Everything we’ve ever tried has been so good but we especially love the Seafood Amazing, Garlic Duck and Basil Fried Rice.

Some of the best chicken pho in GR – can definitely rival Asian Palace/Pho 99! Looking forward to coming back to try other dishes. Service was fast and friendly. My only complaint is that the dining room was a little too chilly, but I also came during the January snow.

We absolutely love Real Thai!! Every single time we come here to eat we are treated to the best service, such excellent food and appetizers, and our waitress always makes sure everything is perfect! The aroma coming from each of our meals is so wonderful. We usually have the spring rolls and/or egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, ginger with mushrooms and shrimp, and the Thai fried rice with shrimp. Best Thai food hands down!

We moved to this area but never got the chance to check this cozy little restaurant until today. We loved the fact that we could walk to this place. Owners are very friendly. Food was served rather quickly! We had Avocado Curry, Pad See Ew, Pho, and Fried Rice.

Delicious meal! We had the crab rangoons and gyoza as an appetizer and I had the Kao Soi Chicken. Everything was so flavorful and with the heat level options, the heat was kicked up to just the right level! Will definitely be back.
