I have driven by this place countless times and I am glad I finally gave it a shot. The staff was very friendly, the menu is very simple and the food was very tasty. I had the mole and my husband had the carnitas. The portions were just perfect and the atmosphere is very chill. They do sell beer which is also a high plus!

Grabbed take out tonight… I saw a black hair in my food after eating half a salmon taco… felt brave and moved to another taco….. another black hair!!! YUK! I have brown and grey hair… not jet black hair. First and LAST time I ever eat there. So disappointed. So many people recommended I go there. I fully regret it.

Dude your place is beyond legit!! I LOVE your food it’s amazing. But, I just ordered some steak nachos and I literally got a meal fit for 12 with a few chips thrown in. Flavors are great but come on. Nachos are supposed to be chips with tasty toppings. This was a 6 course meal. Just saying sometimes less is more. This was the “nachos” I got.

So, I did the drive thru. I ordered the chili verde plate. I really hate the expectation that I will tip for counter service. Tipping is for table service. They lost a point there.

Love this place! The mole chicken enchiladas are outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!! This is my go to dish and it comes with rice and homemade pinto beans! The fish tacos are insane! The chips, guacamole and queso are so fresh and delicious! The bean and cheese burrito is awesome! So homemade and fresh and the most inexpensive item on the menu! I judge my favorite Mexican restaurants on the bean and cheese burrito! . This one can’t be beat!

Best tacos in Salt Lake valley! Great food, good prices. Service can be hit-n-miss, but Valeria is phenomenal. This taqueria is always busy with customers for good reason.

Think this place is getting a lot of reviews from friends and family. Pass on Real Taqueria and thank me later. To start service is beyond slow. Called ahead, they said it would be ready in 10 min, but it took 25, and they were serving the drivethru rather than getting my meal. Lowest quality Carne Asada I think I’ve ever had (oversalted & dry as a bone…ended up giving to my dogs), and one of the worst Mexican meals I’ve had in a while. Rice wasn’t fresh, Chile Verde was weak, asked for salsa and didn’t get it, and everything was way oversalted…all but inedible. Ended up tossing most of it. Not even nearly as good as Costa Vida or Cafe Rio, and I don’t love either one of those. Do not waste your money here. I would have asked for a refund if I was eating in.
