I stopped in for a quick bite and the food was fresh, flavorful, and made to order. The tacos were packed with meat and toppings, and everything tasted homemade. The staff were friendly and the service was fast, even during busy hours. The place is clean and has that cozy, local feel — definitely one of the best taco spots around!

13/10 best Mexican food around. The food is always hot, incredibly flavorful, and you get more than your money’s worth. The restaurant itself is warm, comfortable, and has plenty of seating.
I love the self-ordering kiosk, and if you dine in and have leftovers, everything you need is already set out on the counter so you do not have to track someone down. The staff is genuinely kind and welcoming. I am allergic to cilantro, and they are always extremely accommodating and thoughtful about it.

I’ve dined in here several times prior to today (because I enjoy it and it’s great food!), but today I wanted to give a shoutout specifically to the staff. My car got stuck in the front of their lawn during the crazy snow storms and the staff came out to help me!!! Such amazing people. I can’t recall if all of the were workers – there may have even been a couple of customers – but I just wanted to share my gratitude. Please support this business not only for their amazing food, but excellent service and good-hearted people, too!! Thank you, everyone!

Way above average for a chain fast food place. Closer to fast casual. Very large menu. Pretty authentic Mexican. A lot of birria on the menu which is unusual. Decent prices. Fast food interior. I wish it was closer.

Terrible food very bland was cold and over priced had this Togo got home this was the amount a Beria sauce for 3 Beria tacos wasn’t even enough for 1!!! Never will I ever be back I do not recommend this place !! I have 75k followers on IG and I will be making a reel on this place!!

I’m from California so I feel my standard for authentic Mexican food is unrealistically high for Michigan, this place meets and exceeds every expectation. Amazing food with an amazing staff who display the utmost kindness and generosity. We love you Real Taco Express!!

I have really done the legwork on trying Mexican restaurants in the area and let me tell you Real Taco Express is one of the best tacos around. Their birria tacos with consume are fantastic.
The Xangos are a little over the top for a dessert – but I’m here for it – they’re delicious!
The chips and cheese are also great – anytime a place has authentic tacos AND cheese dip I’ll be there.

Lovely , friendly , clean, quaint, intimate , quick service , great presentation, moderate prices, the workers constantly sanitized their hands and wore gloves. Bathrooms were very clean . My only complaint is my food seemed salty…I had a soup and the Mexican pizza. I used sour cream to drown out the salty-like taste. I will return and hopefully that was a one timer ….Everyone there speaks Spanish….even the customers were friendly to one another. Keep up the good work

It’s Tuesday and when I drove by my mind screamed “TACOS!”. I listened.
Nice menu, solid selection.
The woman who took my order was pleasant & reasonably helpful given English is not her first language.
Table was sticky, though.
I ordered the #10 Flour Taco Supremes (almost $16 w/tax), 2 pastor, 1 with chorizo. I like the chorizo more but it is noticeably greasy.
The food came quickly and as requested. Beans and rice are in paper containers, not styrofoam. Could’ve been hotter temps but the food wasn’t cold by any stretch. There is a tray of basic taco sauce packets but the heat of them is wimpy. No jalapeño or habenero options. Not until after I finished did I see the bottles of sauce on literally every other table. (No points for observation skills today). Everything is less authentic than I’d prefer but quick and tasty, for sure.
I’ll gladly come back, try something different & sample them sauces.
A bit noisy inside, mostly the customers, should’ve gone outside.
14 spaces in the lot, 1 is handicapped. Street parking is verboten.
