Crisp, hot, luscious fried green tomatoes.
The crunch is superb & the melting hollandaise is ultimately a luxury!

A Ruben sandwiche thay does proper justice to the names!
Wonderful kraut, fine pastrami, marble rye that is crunchy & soft as hoped for.

Kids butter noodles & chicken is healthy & clean & makes any picky eater happy.

Ambiance is soft, relaxed, understated, gentle. Great place for a first date, a small (25-30) catered event, a promotion celebration , quick family dinner, baby shower luncheon, wedding planning gathering. Also a wonderful place to settle in with a friend on a Friday night.

The holidays are not crushing or exhausting here, the food is low country wholesome elegance
Should be one of Birminghams top 10 on every social platform.

Nice place, comfy and quiet. The sandwiches were decent. Try the orange blossom lemonade.

Perfect place for lunch. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of smashed red potatoes and it was fantastic. The girls working there were so sweet and welcoming. Everything about the experience made for a lovely lunch.

Haven’t dine in over this location but takeout was pretty bland. Ordered sweet potato fries and they were undercooked, spaghetti was unseasoned, salad portions were smaller than I was anticipating but edible. Brussel sprouts slaw was the best one. I might try Homewood next time, it looks like it has better ratings than this one.

Lovely lunch place, had the BLT with fried green tomatoes. Not my favorite BLT. Would probably have enjoyed it more with heirloom tomatoes. The bread is insubstantial for the pile of bacon & the FGT. The Brussels sprout coleslaw was delicious. Bit noisy & crowded for a conversation.

Got the grilled chicken sandwich with goat cheese and apple. Very refreshing sandwich not too heavy for lunch. Also got the fried okra, love the sauce that came with it.

The only table in the place. two glasses of $10/bottle cheap Pinot, two cans of IPA, two vegetable plates, no servers, had to ask for water, room temp vegetables, $60. + a 25% tip because there were people working. Last time I ever darken the door. Gave it 2 stars because there were only 2 or 3 flies buzzing us during dinner.
