The food and service are very good here. So far the molcajete with steak, chicken and shrimp as well as the marinaded steak on top of a couple cheese enchiladas are my favorites here. I have to do the enchiladas and marinaded steak à la cart to get together but I’m fine with that. The food is not cheap here but you get what you pay for I believe. I do not care for the bistec which comes with the beef fajitas.

My Bestfriend and I came here for dinner on 2/13/26. The atmosphere was really nice. It is a beautiful restaurant with great music and the setting made for a pleasant evening.

My friend is a vegetarian and ordered the veggie chimichanga, but she was not a fan. It mainly contained a large amount of spinach and lacked variety. I ordered the chicken taco plate, which I did enjoy and thought was well prepared.

Unfortunately, the service did not meet expectations. After our food was dropped off, our waitress walked away without checking if we needed anything else. We were not checked on during our meal, and our drinks were never refilled. After finishing our food, we waited about 20 minutes for the bill. We eventually had to get up and find another employee to locate our waitress so we could pay.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. They bring you complimentary chips and salsa when you sit down like every restaurant in Texas does, but none of the Denver restaurants do. The wait staff was very friendly and brought out the food quickly. This is more of a Tex-Mex restaurant than Mexican restaurant which makes it a novelty in Denver. The entire restaurant was faux painted to look like a village in Mexico. It’s done very well. The beef fajitas were delicious with a good serving size of beef and were reasonably priced. The food came to us sizzling. The sides that come with the fajitas are huge with lots of guacamole, sour cream, cheese, lettuce, rice and beans. We are definitely coming back! This is our new favorite Tex-Mex place in Denver!

We absolutely love going to this restaurant & frequent it every time we are in Denver. They start you off with chips & salsa & we always order the cheese dip. I enjoy their ground beef enchiladas with red sauce, but I only order ala carte because I’m so full from the cheese dip. My husband had the Chilaquiles Mineros for the 1st time & really enjoyed his choice.

Chili rellenos are the best! Wife loves the enchilada plate. Great portion sizes, fresh chips and salsa. Service is great. Sometimes too loud on bar side, but we eat here a lot because the food is amazing. large menu with almost everything to appeal to even the pickiest eater. Desert – Wife recommends the choco flan.

em: quesabirria tacos, my fave. I decided on those and when asking for a recommendation on if the rice was flavorful or more on the bland side, I appreciated her truthful answer. My order came out pretty fast, within 8-10 minutes. They gave me ALLLLL the fixins and then some. I received 3 tacos, 3 limes, cilantro, white and red onions, sliced habanero peppers, AMD chips and salsa. The salsa was magnificent, and I’m usually the person that would rather not eat the chips and salsa because the quality is low and it is not tasty. But you could tell the vegetables they used were very fresh and it had a tiny bite of spice. Probably third best restaurant salsa I’ve tasted. The other salsas for the birria tacos were wayyyy too salty. As far as the birria tacos went, they were exploding with flavor, and my cheese pull was textbook definition. The consume was one sprinkle of seasoning away from being on the bland side, right on the cusp, but valid enough. I can definitely see myself coming back!

Food was good. Party of 2 just my wife and I. What I wasn’t ok with is the way they add the tip on the bill, our waiter Edwin only came to our table about 3 times and he added a $15.23 to the bill which I was not ok with. The tip is suppose to be based on how they treat you and serve you and I was not treated good enough to leave a $15 dollar tip on a part of two. First and last time we come here that’s for sure.

We recently visited this Real de Minas location, and I have to say, it was easily the best one I’ve been to so far. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cute Mexican restaurant vibe, bright, cheerful colors, charming décor, and a really cozy feel that makes you want to sit down and relax. It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel welcomed and comfortable, which is always a great start to any dining experience.

The service here was honestly outstanding. Our waitress didn’t completely understand English, but she tried her absolute hardest and was so sweet and attentive throughout our meal. You could tell she genuinely appreciated that we were patient and allowed her to take her time with us. She was thankful for the opportunity to practice, and that effort alone made us feel valued as customers. Even with a language barrier, she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of, which really made the experience feel special.
The food was equally impressive. The chips and salsa were homemade and incredibly flavorful, they had the perfect balance of freshness and seasoning, and it was clear they put care into preparing them. For our entrees, I ordered a torta, and my partner got a chimichanga. Both dishes arrived hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The torta was perfectly crispy, with a filling that was rich and flavorful, and the chimichanga was hearty and well-seasoned, with a golden, perfectly fried exterior. Each bite was satisfying, and the portions were generous enough that we left feeling completely full and happy.

What really sets this location apart from others I’ve been to is the combination of quality food, attentive service, and the warm, welcoming vibe. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about the guests and take pride in providing a positive dining experience. The care they put into both the service and the food makes this location feel special compared to others I’ve visited.

Overall, I would highly recommend this Real de Minas location. Whether you’re coming for a casual lunch, dinner, or just a relaxed meal with friends or family, it’s a spot where you can enjoy authentic Mexican food in a cheerful, comfortable environment. The friendly staff, homemade dishes, and inviting atmosphere make it a place I’ll definitely be returning to.
