Joined my father for lunch with his friends last week. There’s quite a few good options on the menu. The mushroom and Swiss burger was a great value at $9 and was just the right size not to overeat. From what I saw down the table the fish and chips was huge and was really well enjoyed by the guys that got it.
It’s a cozy environment inside with the only downside is the cool breeze as the doors are opened and closed. It gets a bit loud for much of someone kicks off the jukebox.

Brought my dog to eat out on the patio for lunch and they were so kind. They have bowls and access to water for the pups and brought her bacon to eat! She was in heaven. Our food was pretty good too. Lol

If you are looking for a great mess of perch or bluegill then you need to check this out. Super high quality fried fish. I love it when a restaurant uses good clean shortening and the crispy fried food is phenomenal like Re-Pete’s. Service from Yessica was outstanding. Will be back!

Here is a huge shout out to Chef Josh from Repetes
I had a request for him to make a ‘Blackened Chicken” dish for me. The only place that I knew who made this dish was Border Cafe in Delaware.
Well, I showed him the picture of Border Cafe version, and what the flavor, texture was of their’s.
Well, here is his version and was just as good. Just a warning, it’s got a lot of heat so just letting you. Know before you order it.
Blackened Chicken with veggies on the side. Fantastic.

Soda taste really good ( not flat or in need of a syrup adjustment)
We ordered a double burger and a jumbo shrimp
Burger came out bigger than i expected and the ingredients perfect like I asked for
Taste was great
(Sometimes hard to find a good burger)
Shrimp were great as welll
Service was excellent
Jen was extremely attentive with a great smile and friendly attitude!!
The bill did not reflect 3 beers couple sodas and dinner for 2 as I can’t buy breakfast for $50 with a great tip!!
