We love to stop here when traveling thru Covina. They have daily specials, which are large portions and reasonably priced. Chips and salsa was just perfect to start the meal. I usually order Albóndiga soup special, which comes with 2 hard shell tacos and your choice of beef or chicken, I order 1 of each. There beans are so good, I order it as a side dish for myself. Very family friendly and service from, Ana, is exceptional! Tip her well… and enjoy a great meal.

This is that old-school Mexican restaurant that once you eat that you never want to eat anywhere else. All of their dishes are made the traditional way and taste amazing the chili Verde had just the right spice and kick to it. They even have the fried ice cream for dessert. I highly recommend this place.

Great phone order experience and food really hot the spot. Called in advance for a carnitas burrito to go. Order was smooth and friendly. Food was ready when they promised and the flavors were there. I have had better carnitas and the salsa was way too mild for me, but it hit the spot and was was big enough for left overs.

Good food, great service by the serving staff, unfortunately, the man at the register needs to learn about customer service. He doesn’t like people asking to split the bill, he developed an attitude when asked why there is a 3.99% surcharge and was on the verge of a meltdown when there were 3 parties waiting to pay. He definitely can’t handle being a cashier.
