This is more than a bar/restaurant. It’s a piece of history. The decor celebrates local high school championship teams and individual champions. Not many places have a picture of a high school State wrestling Champ on the wall, Ray’s Tavern does. The food is fantastic and the staff was amazing.

Our server was amazing! He was fast and efficient and always made sure our needs were met even though he had a hundred other people to wait on. The food was some of the best we have had in a while. I got the chicken chucks, they were amazing!!! My dad got a burger and wanted to go back for more!!!

We really enjoyed our visit to Reading. The antique dealer recommended Ray’s place and it did not disappoint. The burgers were so good we made a return trip on our way back to Fl. The food was fresh and reasonably priced. The service was fast and friendly. The locals made us feel VERY welcome. I enjoyed my visit and will be returning the next time I visit the area.

Was told this was the best burger joint for 30 miles around, ended up being meh at best. It’s a no frills dive bar with burgers and fried sides (literally every side is fried; fries, onion rings, green beans, BROCCOLI). I guess it’s just not the place for me. Our server was very nice, though.

My goodness! We live in OH and went to Reading to try something new. That hamburger did not disappoint. I NEVER can finish food at a restaurant but I demolished that hamburger. So flavorful so good, Toppings were fresh. Service was absolutely wonderful. I most definitely will come back and get a double hamburger next time. Yummy

Just moved to the area, and I’ve definitely found my new favorite spot. Perfect little dive bar, burgers were great, beer was ice ice ice cold, service was excellent, and the fried broccoli was incredible. Can’t wait to go back!
