This place is cranking out some top notch N.Y. style pizzas. This is definitely my new slice spot. I went in and grabbed some slices after hearing about this place for so long. I got a sausage and pepperoni slice. It doesn’t get much better than this. Sauce is flavorful, dough was thin and crispy. Perfect amount of cheese. I never had super thin sliced Italian sausage on a pizza but it worked so well. Also grabbed a slice of the Sicilian. Went with pepperoni. Light and airy with a nice crispy bottom. Tons of cheese and pepperoni and the sauce was great!!! Highly recommended!!!!

We ordered Ray’s on Christmas Day and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Pizza and wings were phenomenal! Crispy crust, great sauce and tasty pepperoni! Wings… absolutely perfect! Possibly the best wings we’ve had in Arizona!

Rays will quite possibly be a Christmas tradition for us from now on!

I was going to let our bad experience slide because it was Christmas, but I feel like I need to leave feedback. The pizza was very meh. But just that wouldn’t have warranted a bad review. We ordered online and arrived when they said the pizza would be ready. We waited an additional 20-25 minutes. They were slammed. Okay, whatever. It happens. But then everyone working there was so extremely rude. It’s like they were trying to lose customers. Very unprofessional to us and to others picking up food. We got the pizza home and my daughter found this piece of coiled metal in her food. Thankfully, she just chewed on it and it didn’t cut her mouth. And I’m really grateful she didn’t swallow it because that could’ve been dangerous. And did I mention the high prices? $70+ for two pizzas? No thank you. Yeah, we won’t be back. There are just too many other great places in Scottsdale to give our business to… some in the exact same shopping center.

Yo, Ray’s Pizza? Fuggedaboutit. That slice is straight-up Brooklyn in your mouth — crispy crust, cheesy like your uncle’s jokes, and sauce that slaps harder than a taxi horn on Fifth Ave. Late night, lunch break, or just ’cause — Ray’s always comes through. Respect to the legends behind the counter. Real New York knows what’s up!

This Ray’s location is delicious—it reminds me of classic NYC pizza! It’s a bit of a drive from my house, but totally worth it. You could even pair it with a nearby hike and make a day of it. They offer daily specials and make their pizza pies fresh every day. Definitely a spot to check out if you’re craving that authentic New York slice.

My friends and I ordered on-line to pick up. I was nervous because I ordered on-line a day Ray’s was closed. The pizza was ready on time. It was delicious. I had never been here before and look forward to being a repeat customer.

This place reminds me of a bodega style pizza place. Free WiFi for paying customers, pizza by the slice or whole pie.

Accordingly, when i saw through the window the cook “refreshed and recycled” old slices by pouring water on them and the reheating them in an oven to then display them as “fresh” for four more hours i guess. I like my SLICES FRESH AND HOT… so i suggest buying a whole pie for quality.

place is often busy with a sweet patio. You can see half the kitchen from the window outside.
I hear great things, I’ve eaten it once…Its average pizza at best, just my opinion. And I’m from Chicago with a very biased palette.

If you want good traditional Italian food go here! The food was amazing and there was so much food! The hostess even danced with my mom and I when she saw us dancing because the food was sooooo good! The price is great for what you get also. If I could leave a 10/5, I would.

FINALLY!! A REAL pizza place in arizona… truly felt like pizza back home…(back east). I was blown away with the stromboli he made, it was as traditional as it gets, not some pizza folded into a hot pocket like every other pizza place. I had the Parmesan cheese slice & sliced sausage pizza and garlic knots, my wife had cheese slice, the crust is absolutely perfect and from what my wife tells me, it was the same 20years ago when she used to go here. David Portnoy, I got this one for ya…I rate the pizza a 10 and the stromboli a 10. My heart (and gut) was happy to finally find a place I’m willing to drive 45mins too and it’ll be worth it every time! I’m not a pizza snob, but this place makes me never want to eat at another pizza shop…it’d be a sin if I did. Can’t wait to be back 😉

Good pizzeria staff was a bit rough around the edges. However I ordered 8 pies at 6:30am and they were ready within a reasonable am if time for the window. Pizza was gone quick with my team. So great
