This spot has charm. It was very warm inside of the establishment, almost uncomfortably so, but the hardworking wait staff (I believe it was only one person) was rocking it. She was kind, attentive and checked in often. The crabs were good and it was awesome to see they now have alcohol in their establishment (the bar was poppin’ off with locals.) definitely suggest they work on their indoor cooling situation with this crazy hot weather but otherwise a solid Southern Maryland charming dive. Highlights we’re the Maryland crab soup & the pickle fries were a hit!

Old school vibe, older building, great food and service! Stopped by recently and enjoyed an outstanding scallops plate! Ordered some BLT, Wing Dings, and cheese sticks for takeout and others here enjoyed them. Great local restaurant that I look forward to returning to!

Food was good, view was nice, waitress was sweet. Atmosphere was a little dated for my liking. Went for blue crab but they were out. Their crab legs and shrimp were cooked well and well seasoned. Waitress was sweet but a little busy so found ourselves waiting for a few things. Definitely a good establishment.

The menu is pretty limited great views of the water and the inside smelled like old grease. This place has great potential.

Denied service in restaurant because we have a service dog. They said we could sit at picnic table outside in the 87-degree heat, flies, bugs, and birds, so we left. Can’t rate on anything else. Dont normally write reviews so don’t no how you saw this coming. I was absolutely denied service in the restaurant and was told I would have to sit out side in the heat with bug and birds. My review is completely fair. I did not give a grading on food, service, or atmosphere only the facts so please dont try to make it look as if I am lying to cover your wrongs. You should probably read up on COMAR 10.1503 so you can be helpful to people with disabilities instead of dismissive.

This is a nice little, off the beaten path, place to get some good seafood in Maryland fashion. The building is rustic and more practical than esthetically pleasing, but it’s right on the water with views of the Benedict Bridge. I enjoyed a good lunch here last Friday with one of my best friends. The fried mushrooms are a tasty appetizer, and the crab soup is very creamy with lots of crab meat. Per our request, they sprinkled some Old Bay seasoning on top. We lingered over some tasty coffee after we ate so we could enjoy the view and catch up with each other’s lives. We were allowed to relax and not feel pressured to leave. It’s a very calm atmosphere. If you want a good place to unwind and take in the view, over some simple, but tasty food, I’d recommend it highly.
