The best customer service, friendly, kind, and very professional employees including the manager. They try their best to be helpful, and make sure you get the best possible outcome for your business. They are located in South Sacramento, CA in a crowded area, and the restaurant is well decorated, but not too big , also cleanliness is the highest priority for the owner of the restaurant so that is why everything is clean, and nice. Due the remodeling the restrooms are out of service for a short period of time so just keep in mind. They offer different kind of services such as dine in, delivery, and take out, also a great menu with too many options, so the choice is yours what to order. The prices are reasonable/decent for all the great, fresh, and high quality food products, also the main thing is the ingredients, and the portions of the meal which is outstanding plus a lot. In addition, there are different kinds of dessert which you can enjoy after your meal. They accept different methods of payment so debit, credit, and cash are accepted. The employees are active, and workaholic, so that is why no long waiting time, also you can place your order in person or through phone by calling them. Yes ! They are wheelchair accessible, and the dining tables, and chairs are comfortable too, so you can use either your accommodation or their chairs to enjoy your food. The parking lot is huge , and there are many parking spaces including handicapped, so no worries where to park your vehicles. My experience was the best , and I really enjoyed my food, and time being there. I’m thankful for their hospitality, and great service. I highly recommend this restaurant to friends, and families. This is my first time here and NOT the last. I got some catfish and jambalaya that was sooo good. Had all the meats in there and the price was very good for what I got. The girl at the counter with 2 tone hair was really nice and one of cooks was in the front and explained every answer to my question very nice, didnt seem irritated, and really knew what he was taking about. I also seen the owner and I love that..means he’s putting in work too not just being a typical boss. Great place definitely recommend!

Small hidden gem next to my favorite pizza joint Fat Ducks in south sac. We ordereded quite a bit I had never seen this place before. Since captains was closed we stopped in . Small quaint and friendly atmosphere . Walk up ordering and surising amount of tables to dine in. We ordered the pick 2 for 17.99 and recieved what appeared to be 2 full orders of Alaskin Cod and Catfish both were fried perfectly and absolutely seasoned perfectly. The Cajun style tartar was a great finishing touch. But ypu dont really need it. Also had a side or corn bread (obviously scratch made) very moist and not too sweet. Mac and cheese could use a bit of work. Though piping hot it was pretty good as it slowly cooled it got very pastey and coagulated almost. But there was great flavor. The had to have it boil was fantastic the meaning in the butter sauce was perfectly spicy and salted I came with 1/2 lb shrimp 1/2 lb snow crab.(2clusters) 1 corn on the cob (sliced into rings ) and sausage link (sliced) definitely shareable and the 2 pc chicken tenders cooked perfectly juicy and not too heavy on the breading. LAST we grabbed the banana pudding. Though it was made from a package it was pretty good the imitation banana flavoring kinda threw me off . Both the Mac n cheese and the pudding could use some work everything was amazing . And the gal.wjo helped us was great and patient. She packaged everything with care as we ordered to go. And did not skimp on the ketchup and tartar.

We were so excited to try this place! Fish chips is my fave! Heard so any good things but Unfortunately we were unable to try the food because the girl at the counter was too busy chatting and flirting with the dudes standing at the counter. There was a guy in front of us, literally standing at the register the whole time we were there getting ignored. Idk if the guy in front of us had already ordered but he was looking around and stepped closer to the counter a couple times. When were completely ignored while we were there. Smh super annoyed and upset we didn’t even get to order literally walked out

Okay, so my order was wrong – they sent bone-in wings instead of boneless. But honestly? For the first time in history, I didn’t even care. The customer service was so amazing, I started to believe I liked bone-in wings. They had this perfect crunch, even with the sauce. The fries? Absolute legends. Still delicious even when they were cold (and trust me, there were so many that we couldn’t finish them until an hour later!). The best part? The food was hot and fresh by the time I got home. If you’re looking for the freshest seafood with the best texture, this is your spot. Plus, the staff there is so sweet – total girl’s girl vibes! ♥️

To the cashier—with all due respect, your attitude was unacceptable. Don’t try to tell me how to order when I’ve done it the same way before with no problem. We got CarPlay, you have other options—yeah, no thanks. Don’t tell me what to do when this was never an issue before. If the problem was that you didn’t see my order until I came in, then say that directly.
The kitchen staff was yelling so loud it was overwhelming. I was told my order was 3 minutes away, but I wasn’t about to keep waiting in that kind of environment with a rude cashier on top of it. I asked for a refund and left. Safe to say I won’t be coming back.

First time ordering from here and I was thoroughly pleased. The food is cooked well and very tasty!! They have a large menu. Fish, chicken, shrimp, Crab cake, lobster tails, Gumbo and Jambalaya and more. All orders are served with fries and they were delicious too. We ordered, catfish, scallops, and fried string beans…yum. My grandson ordered a build your own, which consisted of shrimp, chicken wings and catfish. He ordered a side of mac&cheese, said that was okay, not sure if it was homemade. They have waffles and large selection of desserts. Service was quick and efficient. Would definitely go there again when I return to this area. If you want some good seafood, give Ray’s a try. You won’t be disappointed. Sorry, didn’t take pictures of the food…to busy eating. My only complaint, they only take phone orders through AI… not a fan of that.

Food was still hot when it was delivered to the table and fresh, they also threw in a surprise which was the best thing fried corn so bomb. I got fried catfish nuggets and fried snapper, niece got wings she loved it. Portions are huuuge the price is well worth it!

I came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon just when they opened so my food came out quick, fast and hot. I ordered the five-piece Alaskan cod vhs a carrot cake dessert to go. When I first opened it up I thought it was French toast. The cod looked like it’s in long rectangles. I shouldn’t have gotten the card. It was too dry. I should have gotten the catfish. The carrot cake was the worst decision I made. It was super dry and dense and no flavor. Big mistake. Do not recommend the carrot cake. It looks like the deserts are made in San Lorenzo and not in house. Could be a reason they are not fresh.

Customer service sucks!! Some little short young woman was rude as hell. My first time ordering from this place and I did it online and it said it closed at 1am and I ordered at midnight and said my order will be ready at 12:08. I got there at 12:07 and the door was locked but the sign said open but they were closed. I come the next day to see if I can pick up the order that I was charged for and the woman at the counter said she wouldn’t know who I needed to talk to so I just said can you just make me what I was charged for the night before. She said “well you should’ve just said that”. Not understanding why I got that response for something that wasn’t my fault and their wrong doing.
