We decided to go with their dinner, special, which involve two toppings, large pizza with a piece of wings, and garlic bread. The wings were delicious. Definitely something I will try and will explore all their toppings. The garlic bread was mediocre. I felt as ready as it was fluffy and good but. It needed more sauce. 2 sides of the container isn’t enough. We decided on the two-topping pizza would just be double pepperoni and it was pretty basic. The main reason why I went to this place was there, do look delicious and I have to say that the dough is delicious. So maybe ordering a pepperoni. Didn’t do it justice. I think I’ll give him another chance and order one of their specialty pizza. And then I’ll update my review.

Easily missed gem in Hayward/Union City area along Mission Blvd. Got the Spicy Hawaiian and Beef Brisket and both were deliciously hot & fresh. Their pasta serving is quite hefty (probably good for 2) too for the price. Looking forward to revisiting and trying out their other pizza items!!

Rayo’s- really delicious pizza spot. Heard that I needed to try the carne asada pizza so here I was. And, it was really did live up to the hype. The toppings and added radish and limes were generous. The hot sauce accompanied the flavors of the steak, onion, and cilantro excellently. And what really impressed me was the crust, which has the flavor and corn meal texture similarly to what I remember 2000s era Dominos doing and the nostalgia hit hard. Of course, the quality of this dough is a step up from.
I was honestly really impressed with the slice I had of honey garlic chicken pizza too. It was sweet and spicy in all the right ways, with the above toppings as well as jalapeno and pineapple. Also don’t sleep on the milkshakes, I tried the fruity pebbles one and loved it. The dining area is a bit so so but for me, I loved the quiet atmosphere (lots of people order pickup). The guys working here are friendly and churning out pizzas quick. Cool dudes, good meal. Thanks!

This is easily one of the best pizza joints around, a hidden Gem on the border of Hayward and Union City. All of the ingredients of their pizzas taste fresh and are of superb quality! Since trying the Carne Asada pizza, it has quickly become a household favorite: the deliciously diced brisket steak, the subtle yet spicy marina sauce, the even spread of cheese with a thick blanket of cilantro has us coming back for more. How could one forget about the crust? Lord have mercy… It’s literally perfection. A crispy edge, moderately thick with a soft center dough has got me melting. Honestly, it’s my favorite part of the pizza.
Beyond the Carne, I’ve tried the mouth water Brisket BBQ Pizza, the Chicken Parmesan, and the Rayo Combination. All excellent in their own right. We’ve got into the habit of ordering 1/2 (always the Carne Asada) and 1/2 pizza (something new). Their shakes are also excellent, highly recommend them if you’ve got room! I’ve been hearing great things about the wings but my stomach is already roaring at me to quit while I am ahead.
The service they provide is welcoming, kind, and predictable (20 mins your pizza is ready!) in terms of good and consistent expectations.
The atmosphere is a no frills large space with plenty of indoor seating and a sun lit patio for those who want to be outdoors. They have a large TV for general entertainment, but don’t expect too much more. Great for large groups or teams to enjoy for sure. Parking is as straight forward as can be with 0 issues.
For gourmet pizzas served at the most reasonable price, you can’t go wrong with Rayo’s! Give em a try!

They have a good variety of pizzas, side orders, burgers, and wings on their menu. The pizza I order was the Carne Asada pizza which was Good! and some honey and spicy wings which also good, they have a variety of wings. I also got 2 slices which are kinda big for just one person and I tried the deep fried oreos which were great! As far as the place, it’s very plain, no decor of any kind a few tv’s and the tables are kinda small. They give everyone’s orders in boxes togo, which is kind of an inconvenient if your eating there, the boxes will take up the whole table. They have no fountain sodas, only some cans and glass bottles sodas, No Beer which is a MAJOR bummer! Overall, the place is moderately ok, barely reaching a 4 star, I would have given them a 3.75 but I rounded it up, I would return to try some other stuff, I did see they have Brisket for toppings for an upcharge and the have flavored shakes!

My family has been going to Rayo’s for a few years now, so far everything that we have tried has tasted really good, and everything is halal. We usually get pizzas and sandwiches

I’ve visited this place twice, and each time I was impressed. The wings were plump and cooked perfectly. The pizza was loaded with toppings. I loved the garlic bread that came with the spaghetti. Everything felt like it just came out of the oven. The food is good. The individuals working the front were very courteous. I will definitely be returning.

Delicious! It was our first time trying brisket on a pizza so we went for the meat supreme and it did not disappoint. The honey garlic chicken was great too!

I’m not one to put down a restaurant, but this pizza was completely disappointing. I had a taste for pizza and was with a friend so we decided to try something new. We ordered a specialty pizza from Rayo’s menu. The pizza was missing the most important ingredient which would be cheese. Literally non-existent. Sauce was spread so thin I could have done better with a loaf of bread and tomatoes. If I had spent $5 on this pizza I wouldn’t complain but it was the full normal price of pizza without the delicious fulfillment.

The carne asada is delicious with a kick to it. Also ordered a slice of combination with lemon pepper wings. Wings aren’t as good as fire wings but a solid 5-6. Could use more seasoning or maybe a wet lemon rub. They were fried crispy perfect though. Whoever works in the front, great customer service. Could have been the owner possibly.
