Let me tell you something about this little place.. we stopped here on our way home from Jackson and we’re from the coast. When I say we will be making special trips JUST to come back here, I mean it. Our waitress was PHENOMENAL. Super sweet, very tentative, kind, and funny too. I believe her name was Lani, I’m so sorry if that’s wrong but she made our experience beyond perfect. Now, the food. That dang coleslaw was DEVINE. I had two bowls and those picked green tomatoes!? BOYYY. Talk about good. Crunchy, spicy, savory, and a little sweet. I’ve never had anything like it. We shared the fried pickles and they were perfect paired with the house made comeback sauce!
I got the regular shrimp platter and my fiancé got the popcorn shrimp. EXCELLENT. Perfectly seasoned, tasty, I can’t say enough good things about it. The hush puppies were out of this world. Oh, and their sweet tea hit home. I could’ve just hooked myself up to an IV with it. It tasted just like my momma used to make.
Anyway.. this place is worth every penny spent. You can absolutely taste the love poured into the food and the atmosphere is so sweet. I already can’t wait to go back!!!

The whole thing was pretty much awful!
The place isn’t very clean.
The food was bland and overcooked. The breading was cooked so long that it was brown,not burt, on everything!
1 fried oyster didn’t look right, so I didn’t eat it.
To “share” a plate, they tack another surcharge, so basically, it was 3$ for a miniscule amount of food.
Nothing seemed ” fresh” at all.
I thought it particularly creepy for being a Saturday, and the place seemed more like a ghost town.
Service was mediocre, friendly, but not ambitious to provide better quality care for their customers. It’s sad when you have to go hunt down your server to get the check, but she was preoccupied with her cell phone.
It’s sad that this business was established many years ago and is doing so poorly. Changes need to be made: clean, observe your customers, and for God sake, change the menu and spice it up a bit.

We visited this little seafood house on 49 in Hattiesburg…and you know if im almost to the point that im hangry I don’t t like to experiment i want what i know, but we stopped not knowing what to expect ,we wanted good food and that’s what we got …and we got a pleasant experience from the two ladies providing hospitality one of the ladies was name Jo… and I forgot the other ladys’ name but they were both equally pleasant …needless to say I ate to much …ooh I got some good southern sweet tea…and the sea food platter. If you on 49 north just about to leave Hattiesburg try them out
