Simple diner food in the midst of a convenience store, but with some booths and tables to sit in, separated somewhat from the convenience store items. Selections of books to read while eating. Some local artifacts are on display. There is a bar next door, accessible from the store, though it was not open when we were there. It’s not a bad place to stop for lunch on the way back from Yosemite.

Great little store. Has a large selection of variety of different ice creams! The food we ate was good. The home made crate item i purchased i LOVE!! the cook makes these little outfits. They hang from the oven rod & they look like a little child’s dress. Really, they are kitchen towels! Darling! Can’t wait tongo purchase more from her!!

The place reeks history. The building dates to 1914, and now is about half grocery/cafe, and half saloon. We stopped in on a very hot August afternoon, and were greeted by a very friendly lady. Had some good beers on tap, and I enjoyed a cold one. You can’t help but sit in this bar and reflect on everything that has occurred here over the last hundred plus years. Times are pretty tough in Raymond these days, but I hope these folks can keep on truckin’.

Good food, friendly service. Great prices! Came early on a sunday, there’s a bar next door under the same roof. Books for customers to read, and a little free library indoors, take a book, leave a book.
