Took my daughter, granddaughters and sister here.
We were the only ones there. It took over an hour to get our food and then it wasn’t even that great. The burgers we had, the buns were so dry they crumbled off the burger and they dripped with grease. My granddaughter’s milkshake tasted so bad she had to get something different to drink.
We even checked the reviews on this place before driving from Alva, OK.
Won’t happen again.
The only nice thing about this place was the young lady who was working taking our orders. She was awesome!

Food was very bland. They also charge for water. I ordered Mayo on my burger and they used salad dressing. The place was packed so some must enjoy it.

Our party got the western burger meals and a plain Swiss burger meal.. Our burgers and fries were amazing. We also got funnel fries that were unbelievably good and reminded me of the fair funnel cakes but in fry form. Also got 2 snow cones one wedding cake and root beer. Ended up having to get a cotton candy instead of wedding cake due to it being empty.. the taste of the cotton candy was flavorless, thick, and almost had a moldy/old/teng to it, and was not sweet at all actually kind of tangy.. definitely was not good on stomach or taste buds. The root beer was pretty much the same way but it had a very watered down black licorice taste and not sweet either… Upon looking at where they keep the flavors is in the window, which could explain the extreme thickness of the syrup, loss of flavor and sweetness, as well as the old/tenge taste.. recommend everything burger and fry wise but do not recommend the snow cones untill they store flavorings else where, and toss out flavorings and get new flavorings. I will update my rating as soon as those errors are fixed and I try again. I can not provide opinion on any desserts or ice cream (besides funnel fry) as I have not tried any of them.. For the 4 meals we ordered and 3 large fountain soda pops and 1 large ice tea, and 2 orders of funnel fry the total was almost $70 and the total for the 2 small 12 ounce snow cones was almost $5.

Local dive off the main road, far preferred than another drive thru fast food. Good food (thank you for the delicious hush puppies!!!! Ah I haven’t seen those on a menu in my town in so long) and nice relaxing atmosphere.

Decent food if you have an absurd amount of time to wait. I was here with a friend and we only ordered a burger and side for each of us and were waiting for over 30 minutes. I understand that with very little opportunities for food, there is a drop in quality, but the amount of time it took was insane. I would much rather grab anything from Casey’s instead, for less money and much faster.

My husband & I are from IL. We came to visit my in-laws who are residents in Medicine Lodge. We had a little breakfast “date this morning there! The food was delicious! The atmosphere was welcoming and amazing customer service as well. Hands down, love mom and pops kind of place! This is my kind of place! Thank you again! We’ll be back!
