I just hosted my son’s high school graduation party at Rayaki yesterday and it was Fantastic! The staff here met all of my accommodations and made everything stress free. They had all of the food and drinks set up and ready for my guests of about 50 people. We did a buffet style of appetizers, skewers, noodles, fries and fresh sushi. All of my friends and family loved it and had a great time! It’s a great place to have your next birthday party too! Thank you to the Rayaki team ❤️

July 2025 UPDATE: 2 STARS!!!! Service had tanked TREMENDOUSLY.

We frequent this place 1-2x a week and the service has slowly been declining over the past 8 months, and drastically in the past 2 months. Our most recent visit was the worst. Nearly no service once the food was dropped off. The table next to us came in and waited over 15 min to get their order sheets taken in. Meanwhile the same guy who’s been helping cook and serve just stands on his phone at or behind the curtain. Food quality is still great. Service is horrible.
I got the dumplings, teriyaki chicken stick and teriyaki chicken platter. Dumplings were cooked decent. Gyoza sauce was a bit watered down and salty for my taste.

Chicken strip/stick wasn’t bad. Although slightly dry.

My platter was amazing. Sauce was perfect, the thin chicken cutlets were cut at an angle and juicier than most chicken you get being that thin. Veggies were crisp and tasted great.

I loved the anime decor and anime playing on the tv screens. The house music was a bit awkward, and I feel like it should’ve been more of an Asian hip-hop, or pop music type of place. So that’s the only reason for the star down from 5. It was just slightly louder than I want in a restaurant and just slightly confusing with the atmosphere.

Would recommend for take out, or sit in if you’re not worried about service.

Rayaki is a quant restaurant tucked away in a ShopRite shopping center. Walking in, there is a sign that instructs you to wait to be seated. Music from various Asian artists and anime played in the background. After waiting a few minutes a random waiter will point to a table to sit at. You are given one menu for mainly sushi and one other for things like appetizers, dinner, and drinks. Without any instructions you will figure out that a pencil must be used to select the food that you desire. The waiter will find the time to grab your menu with the circled items. The drinks were brought out first. We were given Coca-Cola instead of the Sprite my daughter wanted. No big deal, just got a ginger ale after the waiter took the Coke. The warm sushi came out next. Sushi was great! We never received the sweet potato roll we circled. No big deal, since we weren’t charged for it. The main course came last. The ramen had good flavors, but the noodles and temperature were lacking. The shrimp udon was tasty but a bit too… simple. Shrimp, gooey noodles, a savory sauce, bell peppers, and onions made the dish what it was. A little while after the ramen and udon were sitting on the table, my daughter’s chicken teriyaki came last, allowing us all to finally eat together. Letting my child watch me eat as she’s hungry is wrong in my book, so the temperature of our food was affected by this waiting period. Overall the food had no wow factor, the service seemed to be lacking, but the cool anime stuff made a geek like me kind of happy. I can’t recommend this place if you’re expecting good food and good service. I can recommend this place if you’re into trying something new without the worry of food or service.

I’ve been to this location 3 or 4 times now and every time the food is cooked to perfection and tastes delicious! I love trying all the different ramen bowls and side dishes and all the different milk tea flavors! The atmosphere is very chill, and the art on the walls is so cool! Lots of my favorite anime characters everywhere! And they always have anime playing on their 4 monitor screen display so you can watch while you eat! I highly recommend this place if you love Japanese food and anime!

We went to the Glassboro location on a Saturday night. Didn’t wait long for a table, maybe 10 minutes. We ordered Shrimp ramen, spicy salmon roll, spicy tuna roll and ryaki fries. Those are all pictured. We also got miso ramen, chashu pork bao everything was hot, fresh and very tasty. It did get a bit loud, but it’s a small restaurant and I didn’t mind it at all.

Nice quiet restaurant on side of shoprite. Rayaki Ramen is a vibrantly decorated restaurant that has its walls adorned with some classic anime characters. They combat the language barrier by handing you a checklist menu to make your selection. With simple dishes with simple explanation it works, could be improved with an accompanied picture menu. Nonetheless the pace to the meal was on point with each dish coming out looking fantastic.

Been coming to Rayaki for a few years now at this point. Both glassboro and cherry hill locations. The food here is always fresh and tasteful. The establishment is very clean & the decor is amazing! I have recommended this spot to so many family & friends and they are always pleased of the outcome. Like i said i been here so many times and not once have i had a bad experience. If you want some solid ramen bowls this is the place to go in the Glassboro area. I highly recommend checking them out!

First time visitor, life long customer after eating inside this amazing taste of culture. If you’re an anime fan, you’ll love the awesome wall art. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive and will answer any silly questions you may have. If you can’t figure out the chopsticks, they do provide utensils (but if you try you’ll get it, I did!) But the food… UGH THE FOOD IS SO GOOD. I got shrimp and bacon skewers, chicken skewers, pork bun, and pork Ramen and washed it down with poison fruit iced tea. All of it was absolutely fantastic. Honestly if I wasn’t so hungry, maybe I would of have spent less than $20! The prices are super affordable and you get a LOT of food! I recommend you at least try it out of you’re looking for something new and different!
