I have to travel to north Louisiana for work and love trying new places. I finally gave Raw a try and as a sushi lover, I will say that this place was seriously AMAZING. The restaurant itself is so nice and trendy. The sushi was some of the best I’ve ever had….the fish was SO FRESH. To top it all off, the staff and chefs were soooo nice and friendly. I’m so happy to of found a place like Raw. If you’re in the area, it’s a MUST TRY!!!

RAW is THE PLACE to go. The owner, Long, and all of the waitstaff are so friendly and personable. They really go above and beyond to make the experience even better. The sushi…. is the BEST sushi I have EVER had. We got the Southern roll, the Golden roll, and the Volcano roll which were all SO amazing. I could eat my weight in the Southern roll. Please, please, please give RAW a try if you haven’t been yet!!

Our experience from begining to end was amazing. The service was great and the food was artistically made and fresh, it’s like they made creativity something you can taste. The atmosphere was intimate and our server Andrew was so attentive. My husband and I’m we’re taken on a journey of flavors. The establishment is definitely for experienced sushi eaters and those wanting to learn about how to sushi in a way that is enjoyable. They have something for everyone. The menu options are fish forward, balanced and while traditional in some ways very modern and innovative. The simplistic zen environment allowed for the chefs and servers to tend to the needs of the guest. The Chef and owner were so personable and accommodating. I enjoyed that there weren’t any menu options over saturated with mayo and sauces and the assortment of rolls is diverse. They do not sacrifice quality when it comes to there fish.

The to go menu is extensive and delicious as well for those that may not have the time to dine in.

10/10 would definitely recommend

Very small new age metro sushi only restaurant with limited menu. No paper menus. you have a smart phone and look at the menu online. They dont know how to accept cash. I cant review the food because we got up and left from pure shock that they had changed so much since moving.

It’s such a cute place! The food was amazing!!! I would have pictures, but we scarfed it all down. I highly recommend the margarita roll, the steak roll, and the baked salmon! It was the best sushi and sashimi I’ve ever had!

I’ve had sushi all over the world, and RAW still takes the cake as the best sushi I’ve ever had! The rolls are absolutely phenomenal—the fish is always incredibly fresh, and the chefs do an amazing job balancing flavors and sauces to perfection. Every bite is an experience. The quality, creativity, and attention to detail make this spot truly special. I can’t recommend RAW enough—it’s worth every dollar and then some!

First off, they force a 20% tip on you, which would be fine if the service was exceptional. It was not, so this is not cool.

The ordering is done through your phone using online ordering. Think what every restaurant wanted to do during Covid. This was both clunky and poorly designed (they wanted all of my information, like I’m not sure why they need my phone number, except only to sell the info).

The drinks came out within 5 minutes of ordering, and they had great ice (same ice Chick-fil-A uses), but the drinks were either watered down or they were low on syrup. Getting refills on said drinks was also a hassle.

The food took over 40 minutes to come out (mind you, it is sushi) and the results were not great to say the least my group had 9 different rolls only 1 of which I would say was worth the premium price ($15 + $3, remember that forced 20%), the others were just okay, but 1 roll (Dragon Roll), was absolutely disgusting I would argue the worst sushi roll I have ever had (this was disappointing because eel is my favorite sushi topping, and it was the cause).

I usually give places 2 attempts to make sure it wasn’t just an off day, but I don’t think this place will be getting it.

The best sushi we have had since we lived in San Diego. The staff was wonderful and the sushi was absolutely fantastic. We can’t wait to go back! We wish they had a bigger place but we highly recommend! Great date night spot for 2. Was kid friendly as well.
