Tried RAW this evening for Happy Hour. We ordered a few different rolls and egg rolls. The picture is of a spicy tempura roll and the egg rolls. We also had a Philadelphia Roll and the California Roll.

I came for the happy hour and indeed I left happy. The prices were very affordable/ reasonable. Minus the oyster I wish they invest into that department, I would like a dozen oysters for $24-$25. Raw, make that happen! . I will definitely be going back regardless. Definitely a good place to take a date on.

The menu is perfect. Not too overwhelming but plenty to choose from. Had many different rolls and all were delicious. The bar has solid drinks with high quality liquor options.

Overall pleasant experience. Very good food. The service (when we got it) was very good also. The problem is that there doesn’t seem to be a dedicated server for the tables in the bar area. The bar was quite full, so the bartenders did not come over to the tables. It took quite awhile to initially be served, then long gaps where we’d be overlooked. Various people were quick to respond when we got their attention, but the whole process was not smooth. Hopefully this is a glitch that can be resolved. It will not stop me from returning, but I will choose a different table.

happy hour at Raw is easily one of my favorites in town. they have an extensive menu, great alcohol selection and very attentive wait staff. the dining room is cool–they’ve done an awesome job of transforming the old chuck-E-cheese into a hip, modern establishment.

Food and service are always great. They do have some inconsistencies in their pricing. I have visited several times during happy hour and I have to have the soy wrap. Sometimes the make me pay the non happy hour price (full price) for the rolls plus $1.50 for the soy and some times the charge happy hour price plus $1.50. I don’t see why I can’t get the happy hour price when I am still paying $1.50 extra as it is.

My husband and I had our anniversary dinner on May 6, 2023. We were unaware it was prom night and the dining room was busy, but we had reservation. When we were running late, we called and the staff was very accommodating and moved our reservation back by 30 minutes. When we arrived we started with a drink at the bar. I was served the best vodka gimlet! We were quickly seated. Our server was Corbin and he was friendly, engaging, and attentive. He made excellent suggestions and answered all our questions about the menu. Our food arrived promptly, and Corbin kept checking in throughout our dining experience. He anticipated all of our dining needs. Our dinner was excellent, but the service we received is really what made the evening. Thank you RAW and thanks to Corbin!! We will be back!
