Ok, Raven Inn is yet another Baltimore neighborhood spot with cheap offerings, good people, and loads of personality.
The personality came in the form of Jackie. Tending bar when you’re a people person seems like a natural fit and Jackie is a people person. Thanks Jackie.
The people were cool, Neighborhood folks, eating and drinking. Very mellow atmosphere. I would consider the patrons older.
The offerings were very reasonable. I had a bowl of Maryland Crab Soup. It was outstanding.
The broth was spicy salty goodness with loads of crabmeat and veggies. I also had homefries and a half pitcher of beer. My bill was less than $17.
The only downside was the parking. Metered on the street without a parking lot. I can only think that at peak hours this can be a challenge.
I highly recommend a visit.

I went to this dump to get a bite to eat while waiting for my car. Never again. It appears to be a neighborhood bar where older men go frequently to socialize. I went to the dinning area to eat. This place is very outdated. The chicken tenders had very little seasoning. The fries were decent. The salt and pepper shakers were grimy. I used a napkin to pick them up. All shakers on other tables looked the same. Ugh! The waitress was nice. She was working the bar also. She acted more like a patron over there. Sipping beer from the bottle with the patrons. I was the only one eating in the dinning area. I see why. I wouldn’t eat there again!

I started going every to this bar about 5 months ago Friday night is karaoke. A very warm friendly bar. You can come alone & you will feel like you belong. The prices for food and drinks are exceptionally reasonable and very good. A good diversity of people. This is my go to place every Frida y to relax, let the work week go, chat, sing and laugh. A must go to place

The rooms were clean, comfortable, well decorated and very spacious. Convenient having the restaurant downstairs and the staff at the front desk were lovely! If you want a quieter stay I recommend asking for a room away from the main road.
