This pizza, burger, and beer place has character off the charts! Total adventure, hang out ski mom mountain bike, biker cabin vibe.

Decent menu food with burger options, pizza, and beer mainly.

Upstairs, there is a big area with video games.

Service is decent. Building has a lot of character and is in some ways amazed there’s rooms and areas to hang out sit eat on multiple levels.

The pizza itself is a bit overpriced, super super thin and pretty average at best. The outer inch of the crust was so hard. It could not be eaten because I did not want to risk chipping a tooth.

The crust is not particularly flavorful just kind of like a bread dough.
There’s not much cheese, sauce or toppings.

Came here twice in two days while staying nearby. Food, service, vibes – all excellent. Great selection of beer on draft too. Will be coming back next visit to the mountain!

Rainy day, no snow, low expectations… and Ratskeller still delivered. A slice of pepperoni pizza and a beer each was exactly what we needed. Warm, cozy, unfussy, and hit the spot in the best way. Would happily duck in here again, rain or shine.

We Love the Rat! Warm, cozy vibes mixed with 1970’s dive bar vibes. Just what you want after a day of skiing! Lots of beers on tap, fun innovative mixed drinks without being pretentious. Go with your bros, go with your family. The pizza is amazing; it in or get it to go. Wedge salad and wings…in fact any of their appetizers will slap after a day playing hard! Enjoy…I’m jealous you’re there!!!

We got wings and pizza. Buffalo wings were delicious and the pesto pizza was soooo good! The kids all really enjoyed the arcade on the second floor. Loved the atmosphere! And the ratskeller koozie!

This Rat is exactly what it should be, the bar/pizza place that every ski town needs.

Definitely the best place in Govy to eat and drink- we have tried everywhere else and either we eat at the Rat or we cook at home.

The food is a step above most bar food- my 8-year old loves their chicken strips and fries, and she is a very picky eater.

The pizza is the pizza that you had as a kid and it is still good.

Service is way better than you could ever ask for and even when it is slammed the guys and gals behind the counter keep their cool.

Well done, Rathskeller.

I have not had Pizza this good since I lived in NYC, 15 years ago! Im sure there are incredible places in PDX, but that would require me going into the city. It was New Years Eve and they were very busy, and I had a pick up order. Despite being slammed and a bit of a wait they were very attentive and made every effort to make sure I was satisfied. Instead of being scurried along like most places when they are slammed and in a hurry. I REALLY appreciate those things, as I’m sure others feel the same way! Great Food! Even better Staff!

Ratskeller is one of my favorite spots on Mt. Hood! I’ve been there for dinner and drinks and recently stopped in for Sunday brunch. The food is always delicious. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the whole place has that perfect cozy mountain vibe. The service was quick, the coffee was hot, the bartenders know how to make the drinks just right, and the food came out perfectly. It feels like a true local gem where you can relax and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!
