Hot pastrami & Swiss
The overall taste was good. (No complaints)
Unfortunately, I was still hungry after eating this tiny sandwich.
This was a snack.

Come on yall, anyone that gets a hot pastrami Reuben from almost anywhere knows they pack it on !!
These prices for this tiny sandwich is ridiculous!
For almost $20, way more meat should be on that sandwich. I came here to be stuffed after eating a good tasting sandwich like this one.
Let’s do better.
I also now feel incredibly dumb for putting this off. Fresh ribeye with cheddar, mushrooms, and onions on a garlic bread roll. Not my typical cheesesteak order but it’s their steak and I’ve been told to try it many times. Well, those people were right. That is a tasty sandwich! All the flavors blend together really nicely. The only critiques I would have are the price (which is the nature of the industry really if you’re a butcher shop serving real ribeye) and the exterior of the roll could have been crustier for my personal preference. The sandwich and a 20oz soda was $19
One way or another – Rath’s certainly Didn’t Suck!
I recently had a very concerning experience at Raths Deli, located at 450 County Road 519, Stewartsville, NJ 08886. As a repeat customer, I expected quality service and food, but what transpired was quite the opposite.
Firstly, I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap, which was supposed to be a safe choice for both me and my child. However, to my horror, I found a bone in the chicken, which posed a serious choking hazard. This was not just a minor oversight; it could have had fatal consequences. The lack of attention to such a critical detail in food preparation is alarming.
When I called the restaurant to report this issue, the response was utterly unprofessional. The young man who answered the phone not only hung up on me but also failed to provide any assistance when I called back. Claiming to be the only person in the store, his demeanor was dismissive, and the background laughter I heard only added to my frustration.
This incident wasn’t my first negative experience with Raths Deli. Previously, I had purchased one of their pre-made frozen meals, labeled as Swedish meatballs, only to discover it contained no meatballs at all. When I reached out to them, they acknowledged the mislabeling but refused to rectify their mistake.
The overall customer service at this establishment is a significant concern. Many patrons, including myself, have been warned about the lack of managerial presence or ownership accountability, especially when issues arise. This aligns with my experiences where no satisfactory resolutions were offered.
Furthermore, the food pricing does not match the quality provided. There are several other eateries in the area that offer better taste and value for money. Cleanliness is another area where Raths Deli falls short.
Lastly, the lack of handicap accessibility is a notable drawback. This, combined with an almost always empty parking lot, reflects the overall appeal of the deli.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend Raths Deli based on these experiences. From safety concerns to poor customer service and lackluster food quality, there are far better options available in the area that prioritize customer satisfaction and safety.
Lots of variety in the pre packaged fresh meals. This is my go to meat market.
Their lunch specials are ever-changing and definitely worth checking out. They have the best sandwiches in the area. Their potato pancakes are also worth buying.
