My wife’s burger was cooked well and tasty, fries were crisp but cold. Onion rings were decent. My 12 oz ribeye was cooked well on half of it almost purple/blue on the other side. Had about 3 oz of consumable meat. Veggies tasted like a rubber band and were cold( I even like cold veggies if they’re tasty). Potatoes were un edible so to speak. My server was great, wait time was fair.Just not worth the money. Still gave my server a 10 dollar tip because he was trying hard and it wasn’t his fault. Go to the pizza and ice cream joint 3 miles away if u want bomb food, fam friendly and well priced. You can think me later. Also…. Patrons seemed to like their drinks and I had a cooler full of my own so can’t comment on that. Staff was very friendly. Cook could have better access to good cuts of meat/veggies and management to ensure a good return. We were treated well the food just sucked.Just keeping it real after 550$ for two nights with just my wife and I and no kids.

We had a great meal at Lakeshore last night! The food was delicious and our waitress was amazing. She was so enthusiastic and proud of of the quality of the food. Hats off to the chef for the Alfredo recipe. The Prairie Rose Chicken was also great! My husband loved the pickled herring on the salad bar!

Amazing food!! Was worried with other reviews listed however I am so glad we choose to eat here. Prices are same as a restaurant such as applebees. Large pizza $20.00, Burger and fries $13.00. We had 13 people in our guest party that stayed at the resort for 2 nights. Every time we ate at the Grille, Waitress was courteous, very helpful on understanding the menu items, cared for our children in saying the plate were hot and even placing a pizza on another table to give more room so our kids would not get burnt. Pizza tasted like a brick oven style, delicious. Burgers, fries, Fish and chips were all great quality. Our kids don’t like much left overs but they did with there choices. And half the time our kids ate everything while sitting down at the grille. A highlight of staying at the resort was this Grille. Remember just like any other place staffing is running around crazy and a generous tip always makes for better days of work. Extremely happy and stuffed Customer. Thank you for a great vacation!!! PS. for a party of 13 we paid about $10.00 a person to eat each meal, great bargain. Will be back

Decent food….like stuff you make at home quickly. Avocado toast is literally cut avocado and some bread off a store shelf. Service is non existent. Good luck getting drinks and your order placed unless you hunt a waitress down. Hostesses looked extremely unhappy to be there. Nice resort but lack of staff and adult staff. Felt like the overlook hotel and I was running the place

Went down to the resort to do some wedding planning, as we’re having our wedding reception out there this fall. The view was beautiful! We had lunch which was really delicious! The drinks were great! Matt helped us decide on a couple signature drinks for our wedding! He also had some great suggestions for vendors and other wedding ideas! We had a productive day!

The food was all right, but the kitchen is SUPER slow. We sat down for lunch at the uncrowded bar at 1pm and didnt have our food until 215pm (and we ordered wings, a cheeseburger and nachos, nothing time intensive). The servers were inexperienced, but tried hard, and apoligized for the long wait, but I would have appreciated a table visit from the manager if the kitchen was having trouble.
We had breakfast the next morning with a party of 11 with an experienced server and it was much better.
I probably won’t go out of my way to go here again, but its a convenient option if you’re staying at the hotel.

Lots of food and reasonably priced for a resort. My husband and I both has chicken sandwiches and both came with slaw and French fries which were yummy. The restaurant has been reconfigured with fewer tables which I assume is due to Covid but the wait staff (Hanna C) was attentive and I didn’t think we had to wait a long time for food. Hmm wonder what breakfast will be like?

Ordered a sweet tea and a unsweetened and the waitress brought 2 unsweetened. My 10 year old ordered a hamburger and she brought a cheeseburger. She never once refilled the tea. Menu is very limited almost nothing. Very high priced for what you get. Would definitely not recommend.

We eat here when my family stays at honey Creek resort, which we do every year, first couple of years this place was top notch, but after that its been a toss up between “this is such a disaster I’m not even paying for it” and “how long can the kitchen stretch out meal deliveries to one party” the answer to the latter is 45 minutes. The staff is friendly and relatively attentive, but I honestly think the kitchen is being run by psychopaths that are trying to see how much of a disaster they can make out of a family dinner. The problem is the next closest restaurant is a 20 minute drive and not in the park.
