Really awesome spot for food. The pizza is sourdough and I could live off the crust alone!!! The Chicago Cuban was awesome. It is quite tight but you can take food over to the brewery nextdoor where there is much more seating area. It’s a shame this place is only 4.6 stars. It deserves 4.8 at least.

There’s a certain kind of magic that happens when a bakery doesn’t try too hard to impress—but does anyway. Tucked off the main stretch in Dexter, Michigan, Raterman Bread Haus & Bistro feels less like a café, more like a well-kept secret you want to share only selectively. I brought loaves to my German neighbors, who praised the crumb and flavor like it came from a European bakery. Personally I love the Scottish fruit bread, it toasts up nice and I slathered it in Kerrygold, the taste was strikingly like Dutch krentenbollen—sweet, buttery, and just shy of dessert. Their sourdough olive twists are chewy, briny perfection, while the takeaway pizza earned rave reviews from my family, especially the spicy Calabrian pepperoni, which disappeared almost instantly. I also ordered a custom Formaggio pie—no sauce, just cheese, basil, and olives—it was so bright and fresh! Every bite here is deeply flavorful and I can’t wait to come back.

Sourdough bread is amazing, the veggie avocado and sprout sandwich is something I come back for over and over. The pizza is also really excellent. I have had the veggie pizza. The grain bowls are also top-notch. You order at the cash register, and they give you a vibrating pager. During the summer, sitting outside is very pleasant. During colder weather, they only have 2 or 3 tables, but the brewery next door lets you sit at their tables. The cashier is always pleasant and helpful.

Our pizza and salad was amazing! Our new favorite pizza in the area by far. The brewery next door and outdoor seating is also great.

A very bougie supposed Hotspot just outside of Ann Arbor. Went because of the reviews but was disappointed. After being open for only 90 minutes they ran out of bacon. Who runs a restaurant like that? Also got orders wrong, forgot to add tomatoes to a turkey sandwich. Didn’t add mustard when requested. Overall just a classic hipster money grab–and this is from a Leftist.

We visited on a Saturday in March. We ordered a Reuben, bowl and pizza for the kids. There are a few seats inside and a large patio with heaters. We took our food nextdoor to Erratic Ale, with they allow. We really enjoyed all the food. The kids weren’t enthusiastic about the pizza because it’s different from what they are used to. We liked it. There was a long wait for the food, about a half hour. We didn’t mind because we were at the brewery. But if you are short on time, plan accordingly. Free WiFi and ample parking. It’s right next to the Border to Border trail, which is a huge benefit.

Love Raterman’s! They have a complete vegan menu as well as a regular menu and gluten free options. As mostly plant based eater this is wonderful for me! The sandwiches and pizza are excellent with a nice variety. The space is small inside it eating outside or in the bar next door are great options. Eccentric Ale offers a good variety of interesting drinks, too. It’s often busy and service isn’t fast, so go when you have time to relax and enjoy delicious food.

What a find! WORTH GOING! I love how there is food on one side and a bar on the other. They also have outside seating but it was just packed the day that I went.

Copacabana Sandwhich- Tasted amazing! It was savory with a little bit of spice because of the salami. But the goat cheese and the pear slice brought the overall flavor of the sandwhich together. Let me just say, their sourdough bread tasted AMAZING. Mine did not turn out burnt. Comes with chips and a pickle or a side salad of your choice.

Farmhaus pizza- Also tasted amazing. Came fresh out of the oven so it was warm, crispy, and fluffy! But if youre a meat lover, I heard their pepperoni pizza is delicious. Again, with the sourdough bread. It was light, fluffy, and delicious. Took some home for the next day, still tasted good!

Definitely would come back here again.

The sandwiches were so good, the cubano and the figgy piggy. amazing. The girl at the register was nice BUT we waited an hour for 2 sandwiches when we were told 35-45 min. And we were no 8 and number 13 picked up her sandwiches 5 min before us. Looked like they definitely put the pizza orders in first.
