This is my go to place whenever I want food that reminds me of back home. So far I’ve tried their curry chicken, red snapper and provisions. I always get rice and peas with a side of cabbage and maybe a side of plantain, all really good!

When you first walk in the restaurant you’re welcomed by Rosie she is so welcoming and so sweet! She answered all my questions and helped me with the app. The atmosphere is so comforting. The food portion is abundant enough to have leftovers which is great. Also the food tastes great and has lots of flavor. The vegan fried fish is delicious just a little too salty in my opinion, and the Mac and cheese wasn’t a creamy Mac and cheese, rice was cooked perfect and the chicken had some good pieces and some more bone than meat and the beef patty was very flavorful and had a kick. I definitely would go back again and try the other dishes.

Mannnnnn… Rasta Kitchen never fails to satisfy. I was the last customer of the day after a long day’s work. I ordered an oxtail platter some egg rolls, one salmon and the other curry chicken. . When I tell you it hit the spot!!! Believe me baby! The hospitality that he shows is second to none. I would highly recommend going here if you love Jamaican food. I attached pictures to show my meal.

We ordered delivery from Rasta Kitchen and loved it all! The vegan chicken and fish were absolutely delicious and seasoned perfectly. All the sides we ordered were also perfect. Can’t wait to try more of their vegan menu. The food was satisfying and comforting and the portions are large enough to have leftovers. Definitely recommend!

Amazing food!!! EVERY SINGLE TIME! The wait can be very long at times, but once you taste the food you’ll know why! Those oxtails are BANGING!!! So meaty (the meatiest around) and very tender! Those rolls are BOMB.COM lol if you haven’t tried them please do so! The employees and Boss are nice. I got takeout, but they do have an eating area as well. They also have vegan dishes

Best Jamaican Food, I did not cook!
Visited NJ, and stopped by Rasta Kitchen for lunch. We ordered oxtail with rice and peas, and curried goat with yam and green banana. They went above and beyond, to accommodate us; there is no yam and green banana, (Food) on the menu, but the owner Kevin cooked it for us. Like what! That is what we call excellent service.
Beverly suggested I tried their fresh home made juices, I ordered the pineapple & ginger, it was soooo delicious you can taste the actual ingredients! This was a true authentic Jamaican experience!
Next time you are in Merchantville, NJ stop by Rasta Kitchen for delicious food, great company, and an Irie atmosphere!

Total waste of money.. ordered Rasta pasta with oxtail. All we got was 3 small oxtails and milky soup noodles. Never again!!!

The food was really really good. Some super interesting vegetarian food and I wish I could have tried more of it. The brown stew and fried chicken were really tasty and I’m excited to try something else next time. My lady picked it up for us after my sister had tried it earlier and was raving about it and she said the staff were super nice and excited for us to try it and it really lived up to expectations. Very very excellent.

First time visiting Rasta Kitchen last week. I spent well over $40 on my order and left dissatisfied. I had oxtails with a side of Mac and Cheese. The Mac and cheese was good. The issue was serving size and price discrepancy. The menu said $5 then the cook or owner said it was $8 when the cashier was ringing up my order. Why not update your menus instead of waiting until someone is cashing out. When I mentioned the menu she said that was old…okay as a customer I should’ve paid the listed asking price. This alone let me know I wasn’t ever going back. The cashier was a nice young lady however she has no knowledge of the register, menu and kept touching money and other things then serving food. Both the cook and cashier touched multiple things and never changed their gloves. When I ate my oxtails there was more bones and sauce than meat. I paid $17 for them on to get 2 1/2 oxtails. Very disappointing. The person I was with didn’t enjoy their food either. I wouldn’t recommend nor go back. I work hard for my money…I would like stellar service when I spend my money in any establishment.
