I found this place for our first date. We had a nice time trying some German Bavarian fried schnitzel. Also the garden omelette hit the spot for brunch. Had a couple sparkling wines for a fun afternoon. Our server was super pleasant! Highly recommended.

We are a family of 3 and went there during our vacation in Munich, we really enjoyed the restaurant vibe and definitely the food, we went with some traditional dishes like the pork elbow and the beef tartar, loved it, definitely recommend the place.

Tried Rasselbock for the first time and overall had a great experience! We started with the beet salad and a pretzel — the salad was fresh and delicious with just the right amount of dressing. The pretzel was decent, though it didn’t feel super fresh.

For mains, we had the chicken schnitzel and veal, along with sides of fries, garlic Brussels sprouts, spicy green beans, and spätzle. I personally preferred the chicken — it was tender and flavorful — while the veal wasn’t quite as soft. The sides were all tasty, though they seemed slightly over-fried and possibly cooked in oil that had been used a bit too long.

Great beer selection with plenty of German options, and the place has a few screens — definitely a solid spot for watching soccer with good food and drinks. Our host, Melina, was friendly and attentive throughout.

Bonus points for the music playlist — surprisingly, a lot of the songs were straight off my own Spotify! Would definitely come back

We came here for dinner and will be back! We booked a table and it was ready when we arrived. We ordered the potato pancakes to start, chicken schnitzel, pork pretzel schnitzel with mashed potato, red cabbage, cucumber and dill and green bean sides.
We could not fault anything, all the food was so tasty and delicious.

Street parking was full but there is a parking lot across the street.

Wednesday night is trivia night so it was a bit noisy but we could still have a conversation.

These deviled eggs were SOO good! We came for Oktoberfest and had a great time. They had live music, boot drink options, and even did the water holding competition! Service was great as well, it was a little loud so maybe not a first date spot but great for a group of friends!

Such a hidden side-street gem. The perfect spot for a great pint and some proper German classics.
The service is always super friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and hits the spot.

We usually come for the pretzels, the sausage stuffed with cheese (Käsekrainer), and the cheesy noodles (Käsespätzle) – all so good and exactly what you want with a cold beer.

Definitely one of our favorite cozy spots in the area.

Offering German bar concept, Rasselbock opened all day long for the guests to enjoy German nibbles and entrees over their signature beers. The place was vibing with sports matches on TV, yet chilling ambiance during the day. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seats, including those by the bar; so worry not on reservations ahead. Nonetheless, the waiting time to be served, getting the foods ready, and checking out did take awhile as they seemed to have very limited number of servers (at least at my visit time on Sunday lunch time).

Good news, the foods did worth the wait! We started with their Sausage platter, serving their so called traditional sausage, spicy chicken, and pork with cheese. This was surely great pick if you wanna try different kinds of their links without having to have each of them as main meals. Though all of them were flavorful and impressive in their own ways, my fave were surely the latter two. The spicy chicken was distinctive blending sweet and spicy taste, which I thought I’d never had before with sausage. The pork one was so juicy and cheesy in a great way, perfect to be enjoyed with the honey mustard and dijon dipping sauce.

We picked the Rasselbock Schnitzel for our main, which served breaded pork cutlet with deliciously creamy garlic sauce. I at first thought the slices were quite too thin but ending up loving they were served that way as they came with 2 sides of your choice, making it pretty filling. We’re super hooked by our choices; rosemary potatoes with bacon and grilled brusselsprouts, and could doubtlessly say the sprouts were 100% not to be missed!

Having had awesome first experience, could confidently say that the next visit wouldn’t be that far away!

Looking for something “different” to eat and to avoid the Valentine’s Day crowds, a group of 4 of us came to Rasselbock for dinner. Great choice! We had the flight of beers which was fun even though I didn’t catch any of the names! We shared a warm pretzel and an aptly named Dude Salad which is no salad at all- it’s fries garnished with finely chopped greek salad ingredients. Yum! We ordered a chicken schnitzel, wurst, and even a vegan schnitzel for myself which was surprisingly delicious! There were quite a few vegetarian and vegan options. There’s street side seating, indoor seating and a patio seating in the back where dogs are welcome. They even have a menu for our furry friends! I imagine this would be a fun place to catch a game or for trivia night on Wednesdays. I like the casual vibe and most of all, the staff who are diligent, hard working and super chill with answering our many questions. I’ll be adding Rasselbock to my normal rotation.

Stumbled upon this place by chance and glad we did. It wasn’t overly crowded since it was a Monday and early, so we got a table inside by the window. Shared an app and entree, which both were great. Waitress and bartender were super helpful and will definitely be back.

Ordered the Wiener Schnitzel with sides of Sauerkraut and Homemade Spaetzle as well as a Paulaner Salvator beer. Also ordered a Bavarian Pretzel and Spicy Brussel Sprouts. The Wiener Schnitzel is breaded and sauteed protein (chose pork) plus the sides. The pork had a crispy exterior breading and the flattened pork inside was nicely done, very easy to cut and chew. The portion was a decent amount and the lemon wedge added a sprightly flavor. If you’re a big fan of sauerkraut, the portion is quite big, a touch saltier and more sour than expected. If you want something lighter, the red sauerkraut is a more balanced option, less sour, a bit sweet. The Homemade Spaetzle was a soft and chewy noodle that paired well with the schnitzel. The Paulaner Salvator was one of the recommended drinks on the darker side and this indeed was a good choice. The Bavarian Pretzel comes with two sauces, a homemade obatzda (cheese) and sweet mustard. The pretzel bread is soft but firm to tear apart, best eaten fresh and is a very aromatic bread. This goes well with both sauces. The Spicy Brussel Sprouts are crispy fried brussels with parmigiano romano and creole remoulade. These brussel sprouts were very dense but thoroughly seasoned inside each bite and had a very light spice kick. I was able to sample a few other main courses and overall find them great options whichever you choose. This place is quite busy during the dinner rush but getting a table was not too difficult. The service is very quick, patient, and courteous. The interior ambiance has plenty of Germanic decor from mugs, to the rasselbock, and the countryside mural. There is front patio seating, interior seating, as well as seating in the far back. Parking in this area can get difficult and is mostly metered street parking.
