If you’re looking for a true local gem in Fort Wayne, Raspados Tlaquepaque is it. The photos I’ve added are just the tip of the iceberg—I plan on trying as much as I can because everything here looks and tastes incredible.
Even my little mishap—accidentally flipping over my nachos—didn’t stop them from being delicious. The birria (I hope I’m spelling that right!) was tender and flavorful, and the corn in the elote was perfectly crunchy and fresh. You can really taste the difference when ingredients are fresh and thoughtfully prepared—it takes a treat to a whole new level, sending your palate on an adventure.

I didn’t go and get the food myself, but honestly that’s doesn’t even matter the food was so good I was jumping up and down. I’ve had elote once but this, ima need about 10 more to go! I haven’t gotten to the dessert yet but when I do I’ll have it finished before I can finish this review 10/10 there food looks good smells good and taste good. #gogetthat #needthatagain

What a fun and unique restaurant on the south side of Fort Wayne! They have menu items that I haven’t seen anywhere else along with some standard fare. Today we enjoyed the Cheeto Volcan, Fresas Locas, and a Raspado. All of them were delicious! Be sure to visit and try them out.

I first learned about Raspados Tlaquepaque from a news article highlighting their generous donation to a family who tragically lost their child in a traffic accident. Moved by their story, I decided to visit and try their food.
I had the regular Mangonada, and it was incredibly delicious. The store itself is small and charming, with a welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it!

Wow, we had the best experience @ Raspados Tlaquepaque today. From the frrsas con cheesecake to the fresas locas to the volcan con tostitos to the mangonada to the torta el chavo, everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors are incredible and we enjoyed everything so much. The space is inviting and fresh. The owners/staff are so personable. The kids loved it too. We’ll be back for more!!!
