I’ve been going to Rasoi for the past two years, and their buffet is easily the best in town. The restaurant was recently renovated, and the new space looks fantastic. Highly recommended for a great family dining experience!

Not gonna lie, I was almost turned off by the 3.9 star review. But I saw that they just recently reopened and it was all delicious.

Went there for a quick snack. There is a kiosk to order food. We ordered and paid and 15 minutes later were told it wasn’t in their system. So we ordered again. The idlis were so bad, see pictures. The batter had gone bad. The vada and sambar had no taste or salt. Everyone had diarrhea at the end of it. My husband ended throwing up. Super disappointed.

My family and I attempt to go here often due to one menu item that’s actually worth it (the buffet sucks despite us giving it multiple chances), but this time we went, there was no indication that they were open or close (even though we went during open hours), the door was unlocked, and 3 men were roaming around inside. Two were sitting together in the back booths, before one separated to a different side of the restaurant, and the third guy was in the kitchen making food (we could see him from the register). They were glancing at us but didn’t say anything. We were talking aloud about what we should eat and if they were even open cause no one was approaching us at the register. We stood there for over 5-10 minutes trying to be patient before my husband had to flag down the guy cooking in the kitchen just for him to tell us they’re not open. This was our last straw. We tried giving this place so many chances, but it fails us each time. If you want good food and decent customer service, just go to SAFFRON down the street. The food is way better and they’re open when it’s supposed to be open and don’t make you look like fools. Due to how they manage the place, I’m sure they’ll have to shut down in the near future.

Taste was okey – but because it was cold – didn’t feel yummy .
Chef gentlemen came and asked about the food – that was good – if formed him about keep the food warm. He went and inspected.
He told me he will keep that in mind .
Will I go to eat again – may be – but not definitely.
Environment was good and clean like as always .
Options are limited for that money .
Very less option of vegetarian.
But overall – ya you can go and try and have your own opinion.
Oh and the front desk young man
Plz be more welcoming and warm .
Impact of smile & thank you goes long way .

The major is problem is that the buffet has lack of good vegeterian. Our entire group of 8 people avoided coming here and went to gopuram instead of because there are 2 vegeterian in the group.
There are so many non-veg dishes. The vegeterian section seems equal to nonveg but has generic dishes like naam, white rice, sambhar so actual dishes decrease. Please some more vegeterian dishes to the buffet.

You can see for yourself — other customers have also commented that the tiffin is not good. Maybe you’re not reading all your reviews. Please check your comments and then talk to me.
You told me to my face not to come again — if that’s the case, then why keep the restaurant open? Either close it or make sure you serve properly cooked and tasty food. I won’t come again unless the food quality improves.
