Social Profile:

Raska is based on Ethiopian cuisine but with an international and Afro-fusion twist. All entrees are served with veggies, rice, and Injera (Ethiopian bread). We offer various spice level options from dish to dish, which makes it kid-friendly as well. Also, if you order two or more entrées, you also have the option for your table to be served traditional/family style. We have an abundance of vegan and gluten-free options, and pride ourselves on fresh ingredients. Text our business number for take-out orders, reservations, and any other business or catering inquiries.

Bright, basic eatery serving classic Ethiopian fare, including rich stews, veggies & injera bread.

If you want delicious flavors and spices like you have never had before, flavors that have a party in your mouth and dance across your tongue, I could not recommend any restaurant higher than Raska! We drove up two and a half hours (one way) to visit our daughter and take her out to our favorite restaurant–Raska. And I would drive up two and a half hours right now just to eat there again. We ordered the plantains, the eggplants, the brussels and the mushrooms with a little side of the yams and the lentil stew–all served family style. (My favorite is the plantains) Everything delicious–although there was quite a debate about whether the traditional Raska sauce or the caramelized Raska sauce was better–both are so good! Oh and I am a total coffee snob, been roasting my own coffee beans for about 20 years, the Ethiopian Coffee is top notch!!

This is the best restaurant in Fort Collins. Hands down. The food is amazing. The ambiance is lovely like a warm hug in a wholsome home. The owner and chef pays the utmost attention to detail and quality. The dishes are Ethiopian fusion, unique, and delicious. I recommend it to everyone I know.

Other reviews will talk all about the food, which is the best in the city. I want to talk about how Hannah, the owner, is also the best. One time in winter my friends and I had arrived a bit late and the open sign was still on, so we thought the hours had changed to later. The hours hadn’t changed (sign was accidentally left on), but when Hannah saw us shivering outside 10 min later she immediately welcomed us in and told us to order whatever we wanted, with a hot ginger tea on the house for the cold. This wonderful experience, combined with the most flavourful and delicious food in the city, has made me into a life long customer. I intend to eat here any time I visit Fort Collins.

This is probably the best food I have experienced in Fort Collins!! The menu is largely vegan and gluten free, and every dish is packed with flavor, and big portions! The raska sauce is to die for. Please come here and try this food. You get to eat communal style, and use the spongey flatbread called injera to scoop up and eat all of the yummy dishes. They also source their veggies from local farms! I highly recommend the Doro Wot (chicken) and Misir Wot (lentils- vegan!!). The owner and chef Hanna is the kindest woman I have ever met. She makes you feel like you’ve entered her home as a welcome guest, and the whole experience is cozy and filled with comfort. Go support these amazing people!!!

Cute atmosphere, lovely owner, great food. Had sweet yams and doro wot. Each was about $20, but the portions were SO generous. We were some of the last people of the night and both the owner and host stopped by the table to offer food/drinks while we wait and apologize for the wait. Very celiac/GF-friendly. Love this place!

Incredible food, wonderful, peaceful, yet perky, atmosphere. Attentive, thorough, fast service even in the midst of a lunch rush. Beautiful restaurant with genuine expression of Ethiopia and Africa.. Like stepping into your relative’s home, you can actually taste the love that Hanna puts into her food.

I had Chicken with Raska sauce and ordered a Sophie’s tea — highly recommend both. And.. that tea actually brought tears to my eyes, it was that delicious. And try her homemade kombucha — it is plain healing.

Felt grateful to be so well cared for. Can’t wait to be back.

This is a great little restaurant offering Ethiopian cuisine. It is fairly close to downtown area, but you could easily miss it unless you are looking.

While this type of spice flavorings are not my favorite, my family raves about this place. Owned and run by a family who was originally from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, you would think that such smells and tasty food from North Africa would require getting on a plane and traveling overseas.

If you love the thrill of trying various food offerings, do yourself a flavor and head to Raska International. The sauce is authentic, the service allows you to slow down from the hustle and bustle of daily life, and you can sample foods like the eggplant that was really tasty.

Must tries – injera, stew, the homemade hummus is to die for, the eggplant, and the doro wot (chicken stew). They also have plenty of vegetarian options.

Was a fan of Raska for years, but then they closed for Covid and have only recently re-opened for dine in.

Amazing!

It was like being back in the middle east, just did not feel like being in Ft Collins.

Brennan, our waitress was AMAZING and the owner was just as gracious as she has always been.

The food is incredible, unique and presented with such flare.

I came here because they apparently use organic vegetables. And because most of their menu is GF! As of this writing, the only gluten item on the menu is the Samosas. The injera (GF bread made from Teff) is good! All the other food I had was so good, too (Doro Tibs). The crew are great and I like the vibes; it’s chill, intimate, cozy, small, and right near campus.

I highly recommend.

Raskas has been one of my favorite spots in Fort Collins since I moved here 5 years ago. The owner is an absolutely wonderful and friendly woman who cooks all the food fresh. Her love and warmth shows through her cooking and it feels like you are getting a family meal. The food warms the heart and the flavor is to die for. Highly recommend!!
