I genuinely always enjoy my food when I go there. I love my Haitian peoples and the food. It’s always a nice environment and very pleasant customer service. Thank you for not permanently, closing. See you again sometime soon. 10 out of 10 always will recommend. I was so happy when I walked in, and I seen that they had Crémas and they are not shy with the alcohol.

I do not mind paying for quality food and the labor behind it. Unfortunately this is not what I received. The red snapper is dripping in oil and mushy. It was a very small red snapper as well. I was charged 46.00 for mushy/oily red snapper, oily burnt plantain and black rice. Will not return unfortunately.

I’ve recently came here earlier Sunday Afternoon, 6/29, & drove at least 3 1/2 Hours from Wilmington NC to eat some Authentic Haitian Food. I’ve found out about Rasin Haitian Restaurant through Google. I understand that this was a Small Business, I wasn’t greeted immediately when I first walk in, & didn’t know what to expect. But, as soon as I’ve placed my Order to the Sweet, Friendly Young Lady at the Counter, all of my unsuspecting thoughts shifted away. I was concerned about whether had enough Tables to sit, since it was a smaller place. But, there was more than enough Tables to dine in. The Owners/Staff treated us with Super, Warm Hospitality. Also, their Food was the best that I’ve ever eaten since I’ve visited Fort Lauderdale. Had to wait for a little bit for the Food, but it was worth the wait. The Griot was cooked & seasoned perfectly, the Meat wasn’t fried too hard, Black Rice was great, & the Fried Green Plantain was the best, not too dry. All of the Food had great flavor. Prices were a little bit pricy, but it was reasonable for the quality & quantity of the Food. The Food has very large portions. Thank you, Rasin Haitian Restaurant for creating a great, memorable experience during my Charlotte Road Trip. I’ll give this place a 10/10. It’s great to know that I’ve found a great Haitian Restaurant here in NC. I will definitely return back to this Restaurant, it’s well worth the 3 1/2 Hour Drive.

I did a mail order of Haitian epis ,OMG it’s one of the best I’ve had. It was fresh and aromatic. The heat is present but not overwhelming. A little goes a long way, but I will soon need some more, it’s just that good. It’s definitely a must-have for authentic Haitian cooking.”
I also ordered the kremas, it definitely didn’t lack alcohol in it, I had to buy a second bottle.
And the pikliz, was just perfect, not too spicy, I could eat it right out the jar.
10/10 Thank you

**STOP what you’re doing!!!** Rasin Haitian Restaurant is THE TRUTH!!! They catered my aunt’s 50th birthday and our family reunion in June 2025, and let me tell you… I’m STILL dreaming about that food!! ✨ The flavors? UNMATCHED. The staff? So sweet, professional, and made us feel like family. Every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and served perfectly on time. If you want Haitian food that’ll have you licking your plate and asking for seconds (and thirds ), Rasin is IT. 10/10 highly recommend!!!

Update: This was my second time visiting this Haitian restaurant, and once again they did not disappoint! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The seasoning and authentic flavors really stood out, you can tell the food is prepared with care and love. The service was top-notch as usual; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely one of my favorite spots, and I’ll keep coming back whenever I’m craving Haitian food!
Overall, this restaurant continues to impress me. It’s rare to find a place that delivers on both amazing food and excellent service every single time, but they do it effortlessly. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys authentic, delicious Haitian cuisine, whether it’s your first time trying it or you’re already a fan, this is the spot to go!
A Hidden Gem for Authentic Haitian Cuisine!
I had the absolute pleasure of dining at this incredible spot recently, and I can’t say enough good things about it. If you’re looking for authentic Haitian food packed with flavor and made with love, this is the place.
We ordered the oxtails with black rice and plantains, along with the stewed chicken, cabbage, and red beans and rice—and every single bite was amazing. The oxtails were perfectly tender and seasoned to perfection, and the black rice had such rich depth of flavor. The stewed chicken was equally delicious—juicy, well-spiced, and comforting, with the cabbage and beans rounding it out beautifully.
We also tried the beef and chicken patties—flaky, savory, and just the right amount of spice. And to top it all off, the passion fruit lemonade was the perfect refreshing finish. It was sweet, tangy, and so refreshing.
The food was fantastic, the service was warm, and the atmosphere was welcoming. This is the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend!
Side note: I wish we had taken pictures but we dug right in as soon as we received our order.
