In 1980, Mike and Fouly Frangos turned their passion for food and service into a high quality fast food restaurant in downtown Cleveland. We’re not a typical pizza shop. We’re not a typical fast casual restaurant. We are a high end fast food restaurant that serves pizza by the slice, burgers, fries, subs, and more–all under one roof. Not only do we have a menu variety which is affordable, but we expertly deliver our whole menu out to our customers. In short, Rascal House really is a different kind of pizza place!

This place has been open for centuries it seems. I began going as a teen in the 90’s. I haven’t been since the early 2000’s but stopped in recently for a bite. It was not at all as I remember it. Got a double cheeseburger and waffle fries. And it was tremendous! The Sandwich was great. The bread was fresh, the meat hot and cooked well. And the waffle fries, which I typically do NOT go in for, changed my opinion on waffle fries. The service was excellent. I don’t know her name but she was excellent.

I arrived there, they gave my food out to another customer. I’d already paid online. Showed them my receipt and status.
Says to me they’re not remaking it and they’re too busy with four other orders.

Pizza was extremely undercooked although the bottom crust was brown. Very confusing. Pizza was very soggy and soft. Cheese had a human skin consistency almost leathery. The sauce had an after bight of heart burn..pizza was wetter than………. It was loose, sloppy and had no integrity. Don’t waste your money. Feed your family elsewhere.

I work instruction and often stay in the house as I’m working at. I’ve ordered from this company about a half a dozen times in the first time it was great but other than that it’s been nothing but wrong orders nasty food and wasted time.
Today I called to find out where my order was after waiting an hour and a half and the girl on the phone was extremely rude and after telling me that they’re busy and my order will be here when it gets here, hung up on me. I called back just for her to tell me that they are busy and she don’t have time for complaints and that that is just a job and she don’t need to deal with me but sure will wait for me to finish what I have to say before hanging up. I can’t believe this is the generation going to be taken care of us when I’m old.
Once my order did arrive an hour and 45 minutes later the bag was opened at the top everything inside was cold and disarray.
Someone could have easily done something to this food and I’m very hesitant to eat it but after working 13 hours today I’m starving and don’t have a choice. If something happens to me and I don’t wake up tomorrow I hope somebody reads this.
I will literally live off of Dollar store food before I order from that place again. $30 wasted!
I almost forgot there as advertised, crispy waffle fries were limp and cold. Good thing I had an air fryer.

I just honestly don’t understand why this place can never get an order 100% accurate. The customer should receive EVERYTHING THAT IS ON THE RECEIPT, down to the condiments. I made the mistake of ordering again today and received some bland chicken tenders with no sauce, although on the receipt they rang in bbq sauce. I order wings, which lacked sauce. On the website, drinks are advertised as “Ice Cold Beverages” yet I received a HOT bottle of ginger ale. Manager tried to say “oh maybe it got warm during the delivery” no sir, I live 1 mile from this location there’s no possible way it could have gotten that warm that fast if it was ICE COLD. And even if that was the case, common sense would tell you to not put COLD ITEMS in the same bag as PIPING HOT FOOD. I said I was done ordering from here before, but idk what possessed me to order from here today. They just can’t seem to get it right and at this point they probably never will.

The Disrespect I feel like I just ate. I will probably never want to hear rascals house ever again. I hate how poor the restaurants are getting but if you’re going to do it please do it right. Why slowly keep deteriorating the businesses that exist because with what I was fed and the prices I’m sure it’s going to go completely down hill. This place has fallen off completely. Idk who they’re hiring but they need to run some serious past employment verification because there’s no possible way these people have worked in the restaurant industry before.
I placed 2 orders, 2 days in a row. Yesterday I ordered wings & waffle fries. The waffle fries were inedible because they were fried into a big clump and only partially cooked. Common sense working in the service industry, when frying frozen foods you HAVE to shake the basket during the cooking so the food doesn’t stick together.
Gave them another chance today, ordered chicken tenders and Doritos. I called the restaurant and idk who they have working the phones but she needs some training on phone etiquette. I mean, some SERIOUS training. I called to give instructions to the driver when they arrive, to CALL ME and not knock on the door. The driver arrives, and of course he doesn’t call me. I hear a bang at the door then he proceeds to open the screen door and bang on my actual door, even though it’s written on my ticket to CALL UPON ARRIVAL. Very annoying as I specified these instructions for a reason. Also they gave me the wrong flavor Doritos.
All in all, 2 strikes is all it takes. I’ll be taking them off my list for sure.
***UPDATE*** I gave this place a second chance, like a fool ♂️ ordered wings and they were RAW!!! Literally inedible. Fatigued is not the word. I tried and I tried and I tried. This location honestly need to restaff immediately before they lose ALL their loyal customers because now it’s becoming a HEALTH issue. You CANNOT serve undercooked chicken!!!!!!!
