The best Indian Spot in Austin is Sangam Chettinad. I have tried every single restaurant to come to this conclusion.

This is a food truck where you order inside the convenience store and pick up at the truck. The food tastes really good.
Food got ready in 10 mins.

We ordered Samosa Chaat and a Dal Makhani Bowl (which comes with rice and a small naan):
• The Dal Makhani was very good—rich, creamy, and flavorful.
• The Samosa Chaat tasted great too, with added pomegranate and radish. The quantity for both dishes is decent.

The price for these two items was $27. In my opinion, that’s reasonable, as some reviews mentioned it was expensive. Quantity-wise, it’s definitely enough for two people.

Note: With the Samosa Chaat, it’s unclear if the chole was freshly made or if the samosa was fried beforehand, so some people might experience mild digestion issues a few hours later.

Overall, a good option for Indian food near South Congress.

Tip: Keep some appetite for the rest of SoCo! The vibe on South Congress Street is superb, with lots of ice cream, coffee, and treats. Eat light here, then enjoy the rest of SoCo.

Samosa chat was good and tasty. Not much Indian options. There was no Indian TEA. It’s a food truck. Looked clean and neat from outside. There are seating arrangements in the grocer. There are parking spots available too. Need to order in the grocer store or from the app. I felt Little bit over priced.

Quick, large portions, and flavorful! Perfect for a long day and you need something quick to eat. They have a cool convenience store next door with a variety of fun snacks/ drinks

Unremarkable and uninspired food taste wise.

The actual truck looks closed but you can order inside the store which just seems a bit confusing and then collect food at truck window.

Overpriced for very basic rice and curry combo.

Naan is frozen and reheated just before serving, giving it a chewy texture.

Parking can be a bit tricky and limited seats available so plan accordingly.

First time eating here, you order in the Cork&Brew market at the counter. Great customer service, QR code scan to see full menu on truck right outside. Pick up food at truck when you are texted. I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken burger with seasoned fries. The fries were amazing, a little spicy and the burger was great! Will definitely come again soon.

Just learned that this Indian food truck has breakfast tacos too and they are delicious! Great quality ingredients and they pack a lot in one taco. Right next to the cork and brew market which also serves good coffee drinks. The samosa chaat is another favorite from their menu – try it, you won’t be disappointed!

Great find. The breakfast tacos are supreme, the cold brew coffee yummy, and the owner is such a lovely person to chat with. He was super loving to our doggy and gave her treats and water.

Give it a try, you won’t regret it!

The online menu didn’t say as much, but the delicious fried chicken sandwich comes with a side of yummy, spiced up fries! The chicken had a satisfying crunch and had a refreshing slaw on top. It was blazing hot the day that I went, but there’s a convenient, shaded patio in the mini mart next to the trailer.
