Raquel’s is, without a doubt, my absolute favorite breakfast spot in Columbia. While the atmosphere is simple and unpretentious, the food speaks for itself. It’s consistently delicious, which is why I keep coming back!
My “go-to” is the pancake combo, and it never disappoints. The pancakes are always fluffy and perfectly cooked, and the accompanying sides are always top-notch. My son is a huge fan of their biscuits and gravy, and he declares them the best he’s ever had.
What really sets Raquel’s apart is the consistent quality. You know exactly what you’re going to get, and it’s always going to be good. If you’re looking for a reliably tasty and satisfying breakfast in Columbia, look no further than Raquel’s.

I visited during lunch time. Food was amazing. I got the steak fajitas. It was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. The environment was very clean and the wait staff is super friendly.

The food was very good, we was served within 10 minutes of arriving. The staff was pleasant but not attentive to our table.

Can you say terrible food? Can you say upset stomach? Can you say never going back? Been here and gave them a try 3 times and never good. They never have what’s on the menu or even on the handwritten chalk board by the register!
Strange Chinese menu in a Mexican restaurant. Nice lady, that bright is our drinks, think she’s the owner, maybe Raquel…. Waitress didn’t know anything. All the times I’ve been here I had to change my order a few times because they would come back and say they didn’t have something I ordered… I asked what she would recommended and she recommended what I got and then came back and said they didn’t have any green onions so they subbed regular onions instead for Mongolian beef which had no other veggies in it. Super salty! Got sick later in the evening. Yes!

Poor at best. Food was pre made and atrocious. Staff was clueless and knew nothing about the menu. 20.00 for this food and on top 3.29 and a to go service fee for a sausage patty a single patty they knew was for my dog. I’m still appalled. I’d never go there or take anyone there. The owner should invest more to this restaurant like he does Azteca…….they couldn’t even tell me the difference in the breakfast BLT and lunch/dinner BLT. Horrible

I ordered the steak plate. I wanted the 12 oz but they didn’t have any so I opted for the 16 oz & it was horrible. It wasn’t nearly a 16 oz steak and it was salty and tough, at least a quarter of the steak was pure fat! That was my 1st & last time dining here. Even the sides were awful.

I had a cheese burger, fries, and a large sweet tea. The food was decent, but I thought the price was a bit high. The burger was small and not very meaty. If the burger had been larger, I could have understood the price. This reminded me of the prices at Five Guys in Hattiesburg. At least the burger tasted good.

Cute little small town restaurant and worth the stop! We got in right before the crowds on a Sunday morning! The sizzling rice soup is an interesting dish…tasty!
