Took the kids to Rapidos in Platte City, great place for some good food and service. Kids loved their burritos and that great salsa!!! We had a great waitress, I believe her name was Hannah, she was excellent with getting the food quickly to the table and always being very respectful, asking us multiple times how our meal is. Would recommend this place for families with big appetites and that are looking for quality service.

This was one of the first places we tried after moving to Platte City and has become a favorite. We’ve brought family here when they’re in town. The food is always consistently delicious. I have an extensive amount of experience working in restaurants and my standards are high. I can honestly say we have never had bad service here, always good and most of the time GREAT. Our server tonight was no exception. Carmen was fan-freaking-tastic! She was friendly, attentive, and timely. She pre-bussed consistently, offered refills, and ensured that our food and experience was top notch! I can say with all confidence that she was one of THE BEST servers I’ve had. If I ate out more often I would be in her section every day! Thank you again Carmen I hope many blessings befall you.

Met a friend here for lunch recently and had a great experience. Tried the Carne Asada lunch special that day and loved it. The service was great and even asked for feedback on the special. I said it would be even better with some guac and sour cream. Of course, they brought those sides out straight way. So… if you find yourself North of KC and have a craving for Mexican food… give Rapidos a try. You’ll like it!

This place is great. It’s Family Friendly with Incredible Service. The bar is clearly separate from the dining area and Party Room.
The Food was amazing. They provide Endless Chips and Salsa. The menu has everything you’d expect from a traditional Mexican restaurant. The portion sizes are fabulous. The flavor is Amazing and I cannot stress enough how attentive the Staff was.
It’s a great place to eat or meet friends for a drink or two. They have Daily Specials and when the Chiefs are playing it’s FREE JELLO SHOTS for every Touchdown.

Multiple times they forget stuff in my Togo order, this time I finally left a review. When you spend $80 for food and they forget either your cheese dip or your tortillas or your sauce for your taco, for your food it really impacts wanting to go. Talked to a manager and they said I can come in or get it remade or refund my cheese dip. Cheese dip is just as important as your food because it goes with your food. Management needs to do a better job of owning their mistakes and realize their customers spend alot of money on their food. They need to do a better job to double check customers to go orders as well. Been eating her exclusively since the opened, very disappointed!

I’ve always been happy with the food here, however dine in didn’t go as expected- service was friendly however once if left and my tip updated, they charged me an additional $10! My tip made an even 40, and they charged me $50 sending me into the negative because I only had enough for that amount.
I might stick to delivery to avoid this happening again… Their food is just as good as inhouse as it is when delivered on that note!
Three stars because I should never have to worry about a restaurant taking money I didn’t spend… But food wise, they’re awesome.

This restaurant was very solid. Service was ~rapido~ as the name of the restaurant suggests. The atmosphere was somewhat plain but it’s ok. The food was really good.
House salsa: Tomato-based salsa with a great consistency and a lime undertone. Real good.
House hot: Tomato-bases salsa with chile de Arbol making a really really nice smoky and spicy salsa. Not too hot and the flavor comes through very well.
Crispy chicken tacos- simple toppings but the chicken was seasoned and shredded perfectly. The contrast between the soft melt-in-your-mouth shredded chicken and the crunchy taco shell was very pleasing.
Black beans (side)- great. They looked simple but a nice saltiness level came through to deliver a great side dish.
Roasted veggies (side)- amazing!!! The roasted veggies were surprisingly tasty and reminded me of vegetables you would get at a Japanese hibachi restaurant. They were seasoned perfectly and made for an amazing side kick to the meal that you wouldn’t expect to be so good!
Overall, this restaurant experience was really really good. Service from the waitress was quick and consistent. She brought the house salsa to me at no additional charge and was extremely friendly. I recommend this place.
