Stellar unapologetically French bakery! (Hopefully you like butter.) Get the jambon beurre. “Simple” dishes like these can’t hide behind anything; the jambon beurre here was flawless. Great ham, great butter, and one of the best baguettes I’ve ever had: extremely thick crispy crust that’s not a tough chew at all, light and soft and fluffy crumb, full of the flavor of wheat. You want to close your eyes and focus on the joy of eating. Take note of the different textures, the way the butter melts on your tongue, the aroma of wheat and ham as your exhale.
I took home a plain baguette and it was such a delight eating it as is. That’s how you know the bread’s excellent!
Raphael’s has a long line in the morning but that means they’re constantly taking things out fresh from the oven. The croissant was still steaming hot!

Raphael’s bakery Greenwich provided a croissant, pastry pop up for my building today for 150 guests. They were extremely helpful and accommodating an early 630 AM delivery to my building. Every piece was fresh, still warm and delicious. The guests had high praise for the quality of all items. It would be difficult to find a better croissant in Greenwich.

Excellent bakery. Very warm and friendly team behind the counter. Family owned. Delicious pain au chocolate, chocolate chip cookie and baguette. The iced latte was different than I was used to (possibly hot latte poured over ice? There was foam) but the baked goods and sandwich were delicious. Will make a beeline for this spot next time I am in town.

Absolutely the best bakery in Greenwich!
The croissants are buttery and flaky, just like the ones you’d get in France, and the baguettes are still warm when you buy them. Their chocolate walnut cookie is unreal, and the macarons are perfection. The owners are so friendly and always greet you with a smile (and a complimentary chouquette with coffee – such a nice touch!). Cozy, charming vibe and everything is made fresh on-site with incredible quality. This is now my go-to spot for bread and pastries. Highly recommend!

Great little spot right off Greenwich Ave! It was my first time in and the staff were so friendly. Bread was delicious and the coffee was good. Atmosphere was very nice as well, even though there’s not much seating. Very relaxing spot of the weather is right and it’s not slammed!

Raphael’s bakery I could say hidden gem, but really if you like coffee and pastries and sandwiches there’s just no way you haven’t been here. I’m new to the area and this place will now be my new home.

Customer service is amazing and on point there are fast and take good care of you. It was obviously my first time and he could tell helped me find everything I wanted and took care of me.
Shortly after my food arrived and off the heavens I went it was so good. Definitely sticking around next time the outdoor seating looked so inviting, I’ll definitely take advantage of that the next time can’t wait to see you again

Raphael’s Bakery is absolutely fantastic! The warm baguette was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside — easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The chocolate croissant was incredibly fluffy, fresh, and full of rich chocolate flavor. Despite a long line, the service was impressively fast and friendly. You can really tell they care about quality and efficiency. A must-visit bakery! Nice little area outside to sit too!

The staff and bakers at this bakery are 2nd to none!!! Theyre kind, lovely and knowledgeable and they produce a product that is fresh, authentic and straight up delicious. The fact that they sell out most products by the wnd of each day speaks for itself. If you come to Greenwich you MUST stop by. Plus you get a free one of these little guys with your coffee! Such a lovely touch!

I love this bakery. I tried almost everything there and everything is so good. (I bought everything in 2 big boxes for gift first time.) Even coffee is very good. I love their orange theme and the cute cups. I love sitting outside in the summer and fall. The staff (the owner’s family) are always friendly. I wish the bakery is near my home. (NYC)
