I loved Rao’s Miami! The food was amazing—my favorites were the meatballs and lemon chicken. The lemon chicken was so tender and juicy. The Penne Vodka was an excellent choice! The cannolis we ordered were tasty, though I might choose something else next time. Overall, the service was top-notch, the atmosphere was lively and inviting, and I would definitely go back.

When we walked in..we were greeted by friendly staff. The ambiance is giving the iconic New York Italian restaurant in Miami!

Dennis & Gabriel were amazing!! They helped us keep a fluid experience with our kids tending to their needs and offering great accommodations!

Dennis recommended great items that really made our decision easy! I will most definitely come back & ask for them!!!

Food was delicious & the drinks were so yummy!!!!

If you’re staying at the Loews hotel — make sure you make a reservation here!!! Literally across the lobby!

Incredible italian food, reasonably priced given the name value and NY lure. Highly recommend meatballs, chicken parm and penned vodka! Staff went above and beyond to help celebrate a birthday with a hand-written card and tiramisu!

I gave this place a try because NY rsvp are impossible. Great vodka penne pasta and excellent service. Classic atmosphere. No frills Italian place. This restaurant is overhyped but worth a try. Thank you for sitting me in a comfy booth instead of akward table dining alone. Across from Loews hotel.

Rao’s is one of the BEST restaurants in Miami Beach maybe even Miami. Like I’m totally blown away by how tasty everything was. I haven’t had a better meal since I was in Japan. If you love the Rao’s pasta sauce at the grocery store, this restaurant is going to absolutely blow you away.

However, I gave service 2 stars because they were frustratingly slow and just sort of neglected us. It wasn’t just us. I could see the waitors just chatting away amongst themsevles. Like hello bro, you’re working aren’t you? Lol. They were great at their job as it comes to making sure our table was clean, boxing our food when we needed it, but every time we needed something just something as basic as more water, it was a mission to get their attention. I wish the staff at Rao’s would be a little more attentive.

Also something I want to point out is the interior of the restaurant is BEAUTIFUL . I would eat there every day if I could just because of that. It gives off a vintage Italian mafia vibe like I’m in an episode of the Sopranos or the Godfather or something. Its very masculine and just overall a gorgeous restaurant. Overall I love Rao’s so much. Just next time, the dinner doesn’t have to be 2 hours if people checked on us more. We were ready to move way faster. I like 1 hour dinners. 2 hours starts to feel a little too long.

WOW! Rao’s in Miami Beach is absolutely incredible! The quality of the food is above and beyond, every dish we tried was delicious and FULL of authentic Italian flavors. I went for dinner with my husband and family and we were all impressed. Most of the table was vegetarian and we all had something delish to eat. What surprised me the most is that I have passed by this restaurant so many times without trying it before, and now it is definitely a new favorite. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, perfect for a family dinner or a special night out in Miami Beach. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic high-end Italian cuisine.

Is this the best chicken parm I’ve ever had in my life? No, but its probably the best you’ll find anywhere in the area. Easily top 3 in Florida. Its absolutely massive but it doesn’t come with anything.

Parking across the street was just $4.

They add a 20% service charge which I wasn’t too happy about especially because they don’t really highlight that anywhere. I would have paid that anyway but still. Then when the bill comes, there’s a section for tip, not additional tip or anything like that. So if you’re not paying attention, you’re gonna tip 40%.

But still, the food is high quality and the service was good so its worthy of 5 stars.

I was excited to try Rao’s Miami Beach, especially knowing the reputation of the original New York location. The space is beautiful — classic Italian vibe, dim lighting, and it definitely feels like a special-occasion kind of place.

The food was good, but not amazing for the price point. The meatballs were flavorful and the sauce was solid, but nothing that completely wowed me. Pasta was cooked well, though I expected a little more depth and wow factor overall. Portions are decent, but this is definitely on the higher end cost-wise.

Service was polite but a bit inconsistent. There were moments where we felt well taken care of, and others where we were waiting longer than expected for simple things.

Overall, it’s a nice dinner spot with a great atmosphere, but I’m not sure it fully lives up to the hype. Glad I tried it, just not rushing back anytime soon.
