Ordered the 3 meat platter. Ribs, Burnt Ends and sausage. Ribs were spot on, perfectly cooked to KC BBQ standards. Burnt ends were very good. The sausage was the new best Ive ever had. Uncle Joes in Ina, IL before it burned down used to be my favorite but Randy’s has the sausage absolutely perfected! Fries were good with a great seasoning and the potato salad was ok. It didn’t taste like a commercial potato salad out of the bucket, so that was nice. Not bad, just not my favorite. Overall, the food was excellent and the girls working were very polite and friendly. Will definitely stop again if I’m through New Boston

We were drawn in by the excellent reviews and overall the food was very good – lovely soft sweet pork rib, crispy freshly fried okra and great potato salad. However, the highly praised burnt ends are not burnt ends at all – just dry brisket off-cuts which we didn’t enjoy as they were so overcooked with no juicy fat and do not merit the $3 upcharge on a two-meat plate. Wish we’d saved our money and just got hot links on the plate.

Friday Night Foodies unite!!! This week we are hitting Randys Smokehouse BBQ! I was thinking what type of Texan foodie would I be and don’t even have any of our local BBQ spots?! Plus, I got to run into Makenzie Plunkett and get a pic!!!

I got the rib plate. That’s 5 full size ribs, two sides, and a drink with bread and veggies like pickles, jalapenos, etc. Firstly, I put BBQ sauce on one bite just to know what it tastes like and it was really good. I’m loving the spicy one in the red bottle. But, I am a firm believer that you don’t need BBQ sauce for really good BBQ and this did not need it. The ribs actually melted in my mouth and fell right one the bone but, were firm enough to eat with falling apart in your hands. I really loved the seasonings. I had one rib that was thin on the top and the flavoring reminded me of peppercorn beef jerky. The okra was fresh and came out crispy with no slimey texture! I’m a huge okra fan so, this was exciting actually lol. The beans were loaded with flavor too. They are kind of hard to explain. It has their signature sauce flavor for sure but, they were sweet with that BBQ aftertaste. They also made fresh double chocolate cake and cookies but, I was full before I figured out lol. I know it was amazing though so I may stop in again and specifically eat a whole chocolate cake! Send help!

The owners are our locals. I love that! I know there was a comment on one of my post saying that good things and character weren’t important in these but, that’s one of the biggest parts. I’m always authentic but, there are some places with amazing food that I will not make these posts for because I don’t believe in the way they treat their employees, management style making an uncomfortable place for our people, funds being used in ways I don’t believe are good for our community, etc. This is the beautiful thing about capitalism. We can support businesses or not. Its an ecosystem and we can control where the money goes. If I don’t agree with stuff, I don’t attack them though. I allow others to make their own mind up. With that being said, it’s one reason I chose Randy’s for this week. I’ve had multiple people message or catch me out in public and tell me about how loved they are by our people and how they are active in giving back and helping others. I’ve had the workers tell me how much they love being a part of it. Also, it’s family owned and they use to have 3. It’s an amazing thing to start a legacy and then, get your family involved to teach them and give them opportunities that the previous generation/s may not have started with.

Overall, I loved the experience. Amazing people making delicious food. I sat there for quite awhile and you could tell a lot of the customers had a personal relationship with the staff. The ones that didn’t were made to feel welcome and even though everything is laid out where you can get it yourself, they still asked everyone if they needed anything and made sure they were noticed. I def will be back!

Also, I want to note the burnt ends were highly recommended. They have a unique way of making them so, if you like burnt ends then, def give them a try. I will probably try those next time I visit. Have a safe weekend, go out and live life and as always, Be good to each other!

Went for bbq today. It was good, a little dry though. Friendly service at the drive thru, and pretty quick getting our order. Everything was great. Just a little pricey.

Great place to stop and eat on the way through! Great food. We had turkey, burnt ends, okra, corn nuggets, fries, and baked beans. All of it was really good. The place was clean and organized. You won’t be disappointed swinging by here to get bbq or anything else. Menu included in pics. I bet the pecan pie is great too. I didn’t have room for it.

Don’t go expecting a life changing experience. My ribs were inedible. Super dry like they’d been in the warmer all day. I just took one bite to confirm and straight to the trash. Actually my fries were hot so I didn’t leave hungry just pissed off.
Living in Dallas with places like Goldees, Terry Black’s, Lockhart and Cattleack this place just doesn’t stack up.

The brisket baked potato at Randy’s Smokehouse is absolutely delicious! Loaded with tender, smoky brisket and all the right toppings—it’s hearty, flavorful, and hits the spot. A must-try if you’re craving good BBQ comfort food!

Such a nice little dinner. Service was friendly and the food was very good. I loved the atmosphere of the little cafe with a big personality. A perfect place to stop in traveling to regroup. The food was decently priced as well.

This is a good small BBQ place. The price was reasonable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was very tasty and delicious. The facility was clean and very open. The service was extremely fast with the amount of people that walked in at the same time.

This place wasn’t bad to be in a small town. Some of the locals told us about it and we decided to try it out. The ordering process was extremely easy. Order your food and have a seat. They will call your number. I got the ribs, burnt ends, corn on the cob, and baked beans. The ribs were a little dry but they have sauce that you can use to soak it a little. The burnt ends were good too but just a little dry. You can go wrong with corn on the cob. The baked beans were absolutely amazing. We went to naaman’s BBQ afterwards and realized that Randy’s baked beans were better.
