Came upon this little off the beaten path place during graduation so it was very busy. Almost a full house. Only 2 girls serving, but they said the owner jumped in to help which you don’t see much of these days, so lived that. It was very clean and had a good vibe. Food was excellent. Definitely try Randy’s BBQ sauce. Oh and the fried roll was awesome. Everything we ordered was great! Loved the old rustic charm. Everyone was friendly and down to earth with smiles, even the other customers. A have to try place to return to when out this way. Highly recommend! Oh, and grab some merch before you go to show your support. Hats off to the cook. The meat was done perfectly! We’ll be back and will spread the word of your wonderful restaurant.

Stopped for lunch and the food was excellent. The outside looks like a shack, maybe a little too good so don’t let that throw you off! Once you get inside you will find it’s really nice and has a good atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. I would go back for sure!

I had my wedding reception here and it was fantastic! The atmosphere is excellent and the food was the best BBQ I’ve ever had. The restaurant is extremely clean, there’s plenty of parking and the scenery is 10/10. Special thanks to Kathy for her hard work to make it an amazing event.

Personal rule when traveling is we never eat at chain restaurants. That makes finding a place to eat fun when traveling with picky eaters. We happen upon Randy’s during a Google search and bar b que won everyone’s “I like” taste challenge. It was off the beaten path but when we opened our car doors we knew we had picked a winner! That smoke smell was award winning . The joint looked like it was hick from way back. The decor inside matched the outside uniqueness with a plate glass window that give a great view of the beautiful land and wildlife. The staff was great and kept our drinks full. The food was everything the smoke promised it would be, fabulous beyond compare. The baked beans are a must try!!! Randy’s sauce with the sausage left me orbiting this world. Yep it was out of the world good! We all waddle way full and overly happy.

Sat in the outdoor patio, what a beautiful view! The homemade chips with brisket cheese dip, so good! The brisket burger, unbelievable. Can’t wait to go back!

My son is attending Missouri S&T so we asked the Football Coach for a good barbecue restaurant. This place didn’t disappoint. This will be our new spot when we come back to visit from FL!

Best BBQ in the area! Huge fan of the mini roadkill and the burrito but recently had the chance to try their new menu. A 1 pound pork tenderloin sandwich called the Hogzilla. Easily my favorite item on the menu now. Multiple different signature BBQ sauces to try as well. Highly recommend eating here. Great atmosphere inside and beautiful outdoor seating for nice weather. 5 stars.

As you can see from my other reviews that I don’t usually take the time to write a bad review so this will be my first. I went 15 minutes each way out of my way because the reviews said that it was worth the drive – It Was Not! We waited over an hour for our food (the brisket was tough, the mac & cheese was good, the coleslaw was okay, and the smothered chicken was okay). We watched over the next hour (of sitting and waiting for our food) the other people waiting to be seated and ignored by the waitresses (who were so overwhelmed trying to seat people, tend to their tables, fill drinks, bus tables and add up checks on a calculator – “yes, I said a calculator”). A lot of them just gave up and left. People at their tables were frustrated waiting for their food and kids at the front were sitting on the floor, some crying because they were so tired of waiting. I have never seen anything like this. They really need to hire a hostess, cashier, additional waitresses and a bus boy. Those 2 poor waitresses looked so frazzled trying to keep up. We then waited 30 more minutes to receive our small peach turnovers (which they called pie). Our total time aside from the 30 minutes driving was somewhere between 90 minutes – 2 hours. As if this were not enough we were charged 3.99% to use a credit card WOW! I hate giving bad reviews, but hope to save someone the time and frustration of going off the beaten path as it is not with it.

We were taken care of by Randy himself, hard working honest guy. He’s a great host and treated us like kinfolk. Great food and good sized portions. Also the back deck is scenic and the inside is super cozy and well decorated. We road 100 miles on our motorcycles there and it was definitely worth the ride.
