I have eaten at another Randy’s pizza in the Durham area and the special, 2 slices and a drink is worth it. The pizza is amazing and delicious. They are huge single slices and thin crusted. You can get 1 topping on each. Probably 1 of the best pizzas you can get for you $$. This place was super busy at lunchtime but you will enjoy once you get your pizza.

Is this the best NY-Style in the RTP? I think it might be. I can’t believe it took me so long to try it. This is legit NY-style- super thing crust with a nice, crispy bottom. Cheese that pulls all day and has flavor to match. And just the right amount of sauce. NYC natives would no doubt approve. If you gotta have legit NY, then do yourself a favor and give Randy’s a try.

Low sauce, low cheese on the pizza. Crust was good. Chicken on the pizza seemed to be put on just plain boiled with no seasoning or flavor. Looks like the only good enough option would be pepperoni pizza. The prices are on the higher side for pizza places.

I ordered a slice for the first time about five minutes ago from here. When I got home and opened the box, you are seeing what I was looking at.

I wanted a deluxe slice of pizza, and I’m not sure what that looks like on a perfect day, but I’m pretty sure it’s not supposed to be a mountain of uncooked, cold veggies and meat. I’ll try again another day.. maybe. If it’s the same I’ll never come here for a pizza again.

Randy’s Pizza is without question the best New York–style pizza in the Raleigh area, and honestly, it rivals anything I grew up with in the Northeast. The crust has that perfect balance of chew and crisp, the sauce is spot on, and the cheese ratio is exactly right. No gimmicks, no shortcuts, just legit NY pizza done right.

I live in Charlotte now, but whenever I travel to Raleigh for business, I intentionally stay at a hotel near Crabtree just so I can have Randy’s delivered. That should tell you everything. It’s consistent, it travels well, and it scratches that real-deal pizza itch every single time. If you know New York pizza, this is the place.

I have been going to Randy’s Pizza parlors since he first had one at University Mall in Chapel Hill back in the early 90’s. Service and food at this location is top notch. Pizza slices are large and in charge! Highly recommended NY style pizza!

Love their pizza, honestly, order 2-3 times a month. Decided to get boneless wings last night… $20 for this…? Stick to the pizza and you won’t be disappointed.

Pretty much the closest thing you’re gonna get to NY style pies in the area. Definitely my preferred pizzeria in the Triangle. Just hope they get their sanitation rating up next visit.

First time trying Randy’s Pizza while visiting the Raleigh-Durham area. I picked this place because the description mentioned it was a local chain serving NY style pizza. When I hear local chain, I think of a mom and pop business that was so successful they opened multiple places. Their website mentions they opened their first restaurant in 1995 and now have eight in the Raleigh-Durham area. My to go order was a large margherita pizza, a side of garlic knots and jalapeno poppers appetizer. I ordered in the store and waited 15-20 minutes (no complaints on the wait) and had a seven minute drive back to where I was staying. The pizza and jalapeno poppers were cold. I was surprised that after only a seven minute drive, they were cold. The crust was a little hard and tough to bite through. The jalapeno poppers tasted like the same kind you can buy at the wholesale clubs.
I know there are a lot of positive reviews for this place, which was another factor in choosing it, but I’ve had far better pizza from the national chains. The employees were an absolute pleasure to interact with and patient with me while I ordered.
