I just moved to Durham and I was looking for my go to pizza place. This place is not it. I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza, one of my favorites, and the chicken on it looked like it was a day old and it was hard and dry. I ordered cheese fries with bacon for $6, a hefty price, so I expected some good cheese fries with bacon. Instead, the cheese fries with bacon comes with about 10 small fries loads of cheese and bacon bits. Hardly a $6 amount. I ordered some waffle fries to share with my boyfriend, and those were $3. They were probably the best item we got. They tasted like they had been cooked an hour before we received them. They were hardly warm and very hard like they had been sitting out. I will never order from randy’s again. I was recommended this place and I am not impressed. I’d give a 0 star if I could. The old chicken was a real turn off.

Great food. Prices are a little high, but they do have a rewards program and they send you different promotions. The inside seating is not as clean and welcoming as I’d prefer it, so we usually just get our order to go.

pizza is supposed to have a reasonable amount of marinara sauce on it. This was bread,cheese,pepperoni and ridiculously greasy!!!. I choked on the cheese. The sign was false advertisement it said slice of Sicilian pizza 3$ and some change mon-thurs only lunch. I get there they tell me they don’t do Sicilian by the slice and didn’t explain or apologize for the advertisement at all. It was not good today, yes I’m upset I spent 15$ which included a cheese cake slice the topping did not do the size off it justice.

This place came highly recommended for a good ny style slice in Durham. I gotta be honest – I don’t like the pizza (pizza crust burnt to a crisp on multiple visits) or the mozzarella sticks (just take this off the menu because…wtf). BUT I do love their Stromboli’s and steak and cheese sandwich (my favorite item on the menu). My search for the perfect ny slice in Durham continues…..

I drove 1 hour and 22 minutes one way to try Randys Pizza. I ordered a medium pepperoni. When I picked up the pizza and learned it was $20.57 my first thought boy this gotta be good. I walked out to my vehicle and opened the box to see this 20.00 pizza. My first thought was where is the pepperoni?. Not use to seeing so little toppings on a expensive pizza. The pizza was very gressey, then I was concered about eating it and driving back 1 hour and 22 minutes home lol. So I waited til I have half way back to sample it. Crust was thin and a bit overcooked. Sauce was perfect and tasted great. Due to the price vs quality I will never return.
