Stopped here before a show. Service was okay but never asked how we wanted our orders done (medium, well done, etc.). All the menus were sticky, seats have seen better days. I ordered the brisket burger. Everything on the brisket burger was well done (including the brisket, making it very chewy/rubbery). The black Angus that was ordered was way too pink. Smashburger, the one order that youd think would be well done, was cold and rare in the center, missing onions… the chicken buffalo wrap, hard to tell if it was even chicken to be honest, or its the poorest excuse for chicken ive ever seen. As much as I hate to complain or give bad reviews… it was just consistently one “crapshoot” after another. The fries and tots were all good… maybe the cooks should stick to the deep fryer… definitely not worth the $105 for a family of 4.

We stopped in to this location before leaving Chicago as it was close to Union Station. It was pretty slow, but the service was good. The drinks were average and the food was OK. This is a nice little pop in spot for bar food. I would say it was pricey but it is chicago and in a popular location. It’s not a place I would intentionally return to. My friend did however say her drinks were delicious, but she didn’t eat her cod meal.

I was a bit apprehensive because of the recent poor reviews.
I had the panini and fries. My companion had a wrap and fries and ice tea. Service was quick and attentive. Food was tasty and hot. Bar food. Very good but not awe inspiring.
$55 including tax and a tip of about 16% or 17%.

Randolph Tavern is excellent! The food is good and the drinks are great. It is a HUGE bar for the Loop. I went there on a random Tuesday after work. There were people there but it wasn’t packed. My friends and I could have a conversation without struggling to hear each other. Highly recommend for an after work hangout!

Minimal curb appeal, but surprisingly chic on the inside.
This bar and grille has classic American fair with an elevated aesthetic that would be good for after work happy hour or a filling lunch to catch up with friends.
The staff is friendly and quick to take your order and get food out. I ordered the Sweet Tea Fried Chicken and it was fantastic! Mix of sweet and spicy and a healthy portion to boot!
It was a lovely experience and I would definitely go back.

I always get the totchos. It’s always amazing! Service is quick!
Update: They got rid of the totchos!!! Why would they get rid of the best thing on the menu????

Food was average, good but nothing super special. Nice sized portions. Service was good. Outside seating was nice until the L passes which adds some downtown ambiance. We actually enjoyed it, sipping our drinks until conversation could resume. Overall we enjoyed everything!!

This restaurant is big. It can accommodate large crowds of people. They have a lot of different drink options and food. We only had drinks. The food did look really good. Our bartender was very friendly and gave good accommodations. They didn’t have Malibu, but they had another coconut rum and it was delicious. I would definitely go back.

Our server Coz was excellent. The food was inedible. I ordered a ribeye sandwich on a hoagie bun it came out unsliced on a bun that was more of a hot dog bun than a hoagie. More than half of my steak was fat and the other half I couldn’t cut due to the grizzle and tendons running through it. When I told the server he offered me something else and I ordered the crab salad. It too was not good. The lettuce was cut up so small it was like confetti and it was definitely not fresh. And sprinkled on top was a small amount of canned, dried crab meat. My bill with a Coke was $34 and I left their starving

Fast service bland food. French fries were the only thing good. Order the ribs and had no taste and cover in barbecue sauce to cover the blandness. My son was not asked how he wanted his steak. Won’t return ever.
